Loire Trip Photo Dump

Can’t believe it’s been a month already since we are back from an epic trip along the Loire. A huge MERCI to all the people we met, that opened their doors, their cellars, their bottles, their hearts to us. With a fun group of industry friends @matthiascattelin @on.dre.jawn @zrob95 @pour_decisions_with_al @olivia.h @maddy_pettit @lieu_dit_montana @mischasbozeman we went to Jasnieres to visit @maisons_rouges then Vouvray @domaine_clos_epinay and Montlouis @clementmolineau_closvolagre
Then we visited 3 young producers in Saumur @leocharruau @domaine_alexmartin and @domaine_theo_blet
Then we focused on Anjou with @terravitavinum @domainedesgrouas and Domaine Helicon. We finished strong with 2 days of wine fairs between Angers and Saumur : Greniers St Jean, Les Pénitentes, Clandestin, La Dive.
More info to come on a few producers (new and existing) soon.

First time at 🐌. Incredible all around. Not pictured: two plates of crudité, and really the dip, which we absolutely devoured. Topped it off with a Louraine Pinot from Florence Bouleaux & Pierre Andrey. Now on the lookout for their whites.

People often reach out hoping to taste at Florèz Wines, and up till now, it’s mostly depended on chance and timing.

I’m happy to say: private tastings are now bookable by appointment through Airbnb Experiences, hosted in collaboration with my sister Lilja’s agrotourism project, @outscape.exp .

We’ll taste through artisan batch wines made from organically grown fruit, wild fermented with native yeast and bacteria, alive with vitality!

These wines are meant to go with food. Living, layered, and tonically expressive, like fermented things should be.

It’s a slower, more personal kind of tasting. Come if that sounds like your pace. Stay rootsy mah frensss. 🍇 🍷 🥖 🌱 ⭐️
