POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

On the Taurus New Moon almost 6 months ago, my sisters & I gathered in the sacred darkness of night to set our intentions for this season of manifestation. We set out to align with the sensual energy of Taurus.

Learning to be profoundly in my body has been one of the most uncomfortable transitions of my life thus far, but the payoff is GRAND.

It means slowing waaaaay down, and practicing being fully present with all of the senses and emotions that follow.

It means appreciating what I thought were flaws.

It also means finding the courage to fully see the places in my life where I distracted myself in subconscious ways because I believed that I needed to make other people comfortable with being around me.

I am my own definition of RICH.

I am the mess, the message, and the medicine, and so are you.

Like the river, I can allow the flow of life without needing to force anything or anyone to be what they are not. And on this upcoming Full Moon in Taurus, we will gather to begin tasting the harvest, and celebrating the journey as we align our actions with practice in sacred ritual and devotion to Spirit.

We will be hosting a Winter Solstice gathering for women that are ready to start truly exploring the nature of their full potential by aligning with the flow of seasons. This is not for those already deeply rooted in a path or practice.

This is for seekers to dip your toes in the water of what we have created as sisters and see if it is an alignment for you. No hard feelings if it’s not.

Message me if you would like an invite.

This week Rolling Stone asked whether America is in the middle of a spiritual revival built around sacred plant medicine.

We believe it is. And a revival asks something of the people inside it.

Our co-founder, Matthew “Whiz” Buckley, is a TOPGUN graduate who flew combat sorties over Iraq and served fifteen years in uniform.

His wounds started long before the cockpit. He survived horrific childhood trauma and learned early what so many warriors learn: bury it, lock it down, keep flying. Fighter aviation added to the weight. When the weight got too heavy, he numbed it, and addiction became one more burden hidden behind the mission.

For decades he carried what so many veterans, first responders, and families carry, moving further from God, from his bride, and from his purpose.

In sacred ceremony, he met God directly. No intermediary. No filter. In his words:

“On my knees God washed away my sins and said: ‘Matthew…I don’t make imperfect things.’”

It brought him back to God, to his wife Suzi, to his family, and to his mission.

He returned home.

Then came the call to build a church, so that other warriors and seekers could make the same journey inside a fellowship built to hold it. Doctrine, lived out. Ordained clergy. Covenant membership. Ceremony held in prayer, with preparation before and integration after.

At Sacred Warrior Fellowship, everyone stands on level ground. Our clergy walk beside you, never above you. The only guru in the room is you. Christ said the Kingdom of God is within you. Our role is to stand watch while you meet God for yourself, and to walk the road with you in fellowship after.

Revival without roots burns out. We’re here to put down roots.

Return Home 🙏

EGO - Edge God Out.

At Sacred Warrior Fellowship, we believe that when we sit in sacred ceremony, the ego gets a chance to step aside.

And when the noise quiets - the stories, the fear, the judgment, the need to control - what remains is what we believe is God.

Not somewhere outside of us. Not some faraway place.

Within us.

There are no “gurus” here.

No one stands between you and God.

Our Stewards serve; they do not mediate.

We are all walking each other home.

Our role is simply to walk alongside our members on their individual journeys - to hold sacred space, to serve, and to help them remember a truth that changed everything for our founder:

God does not make imperfect things ✝️

You are not here to become someone else.

You are here to remember who you have always been.

If this calls to you, reach out. Membership in the Fellowship comes first - our next gathering for members in good standing is October 9–11.

Return Home. 🙏

This past weekend we sat in sacred ceremony in South Florida.
⠀
⠀
Veterans. First responders. Family members. Civilians. Different uniforms, different wounds, same doorway.
⠀
⠀
Near the beginning, a thunderstorm rolled in over the top of us. Loud. Heavy. The kind that fills the whole sky with its own beauty.
⠀
⠀
And then it passed. Sun after. Air washed clean. A rainbow.
⠀
⠀
That is the thing about a storm. While you are under it, it is the entire world. You cannot picture the other side of it. And it still ends.
⠀
⠀
Even Christ cried out in the garden. The night was real. It was not the end of the story.
⠀
⠀
There is no resurrection that does not come after a dark night of the soul. Nobody gets the morning without the garden first.
⠀
⠀
There are no coincidences. God winks.
⠀
⠀
Humbled and honored to be doing this work, and watching this fellowship grow.
⠀
⠀
Our people don’t come back ‘fixed’. They come back found, realizing they were never lost.
⠀
⠀
September 25-27 we bring a new sacrament to ceremony. Our next ceremony after that is the end of October.
⠀
⠀
If our fellowship and our beliefs call to you, reach out. We would be honored to walk alongside you and help you Return Home.
⠀
⠀
No one is ever truly broken - God does not make imperfect things.
⠀

Return Home.

Researchers at Monash University published findings in Nature this week that describe something the warriors in this fellowship already learned in ceremony: the wall between you and everything else is not a fixed feature of reality. It is a process the mind runs, moment by moment, to keep you convinced you are separate. And it can go quiet.

We have a name for that process. EGO = Edge God Out.

It is the part of a man that insists he is alone in here and everything else is out there - the same part that tells him he must carry it by himself, that no one would understand, that he is beyond reach.

The lead researcher landed on the same conclusion from the other direction: maybe the illusion was never the oneness. Maybe the illusion was the separation.

The sacrament does not destroy the ego. It lets the ego take a break. And in that stillness a man discovers that God did not have to be summoned, persuaded, or earned. He was already there. He never left. The noise was just loud enough to drown Him out.

Christ said it two thousand years earlier. That they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You. The Kingdom of God is within you. In Him we live and move and have our being. Paul told the church at Corinth we have the mind of Christ - not poetry, a mind that can be entered.

We do not receive the sacrament to feel better.

We receive it to remember. And what a man remembers is that he was never separate from God to begin with. The separation was the wound. The communion is the answer. The peace that returns, the marriage that mends, the man who finally comes home all of it follows from that.

The scientists are catching up. The Way has been here since Acts.

Return Home 🙏✝️

There are moments in life when we are called to go deeper. To surrender what we think we know, quiet the noise of the ego, and open ourselves to something far greater than ourselves.

This September 25–27, Sacred Warrior Fellowship will gather again in sacred ceremony, and for the first time we will welcome 5-MeO-DMT as one of our sacraments.

5-MeO-DMT is among the most profound entheogenic compounds found in nature. For us, it is not a recreational experience. It is approached with reverence, prayer, preparation, intention, and deep respect for the mystery of God.

This sacrament holds a particularly sacred place in our Fellowship because it helped save and forever change the life of one of our founders. In that experience came something that ultimately helped give birth to this ministry: a remembrance that beneath the wounds, the fear, the grief, and everything we accumulate through this human life, we remain children of God.

God does not make imperfect things ✝️

We believe no one is truly broken. Sometimes we have simply forgotten who we are.

Sacred ceremony can create a space for that remembrance - to surrender, to listen, to reconnect with God, and perhaps to glimpse the love and grace that have been there all along.

If you feel called, we invite you to learn more about Sacred Warrior Fellowship and our September 25–27 gathering at the link in our bio.

Come with an open heart.

A new study out of The Ohio State University offers something many of us have known for years: psilocybin-assisted therapy has the potential to change - and save - the lives of veterans who have exhausted every other option. In this small pilot study of veterans with severe, treatment-resistant trauma, 9 of 12 participants no longer met the criteria for PTSD one month after treatment. That’s remarkable, even as we await larger trials.

At Sacred Warrior Fellowship, we believe this conversation must go even deeper.

Many veterans are not only carrying post-traumatic stress injury (PTSI). They are carrying moral injury - the crushing weight of guilt, shame, grief, impossible decisions, and the feeling that they have become separated from God, from others, and from themselves.

Moral injury is increasingly recognized as a major contributor to suffering, treatment resistance, isolation, and suicidality, yet it remains underappreciated in conventional care.

We reject the idea that our warriors are “broken.”

An injury can heal.

A disorder implies something is fundamentally wrong with who you are.

We believe no one is beyond redemption because no one was created broken. As our founder often says after his own healing journey:

“God does not make imperfect things.”

When approached prayerfully, reverently, and in sacred community, the sacrament of psilocybin is not about escaping reality. It is about remembering it.

Remembering who you were before the trauma and that you are loved.

Remembering that your worth was never determined by the worst day of your life.

Remembering that the Kingdom of God is still within you ✝️

Science is finally beginning to measure what so many have already experienced firsthand.

Healing is possible and no warrior must walk this path alone.

Join us in Ceremony.

Was the Tree of Knowledge really a mushroom?

Inside a centuries-old chapel in France is a remarkable depiction of Adam and Eve beside what appears - at least to modern eyes - to be an enormous mushroom.

Some believe the Plaincourault fresco represents Amanita muscaria and suggests that entheogenic sacraments once held a hidden place within Christian spirituality. Most traditional art historians disagree, describing it as a stylized medieval tree.

The truth is, we may never know exactly what its artist intended.

But perhaps the more important question is not whether the Garden of Eden was “a mushroom trip.”

Perhaps it is why humanity has repeatedly connected sacred plants and fungi with knowledge, revelation, death, rebirth and direct communion with God ✝️

In Genesis, their eyes were opened.

That language sounds familiar to anyone who has experienced the veil being lifted - not as recreation or escape, but through reverent, intentional sacrament.

Maybe Eden is not merely a story about humanity falling from grace.

Maybe it also preserves an ancient memory of consciousness awakening - and of the profound responsibility that comes with seeing more clearly.

At Sacred Warrior Fellowship, we do not claim that sacraments replace God.

We believe they can open a door to direct experience.

The Kingdom of God is within you 🙏

Join us in Ceremony if this calls to you.

170 American troops sustained head trauma in the first six weeks of the war with Iran. Over 400 casualties total.

Experts are already warning TBI could become the signature wound of this war - the same as Iraq and Afghanistan.

Sadly we’ve seen this before. We know how it ends if nobody moves.

This time is different. For the first time, the science of brain healing has federal attention behind it. Researchers are studying compounds that appear to promote neuroplasticity - the brain’s ability to build new connections and route around damage.

Findings in veterans with blast exposure were strong enough that the government is now funding the work instead of ignoring it.

That’s real progress. It’s also years from a VA clinic.

Trials take a decade. These warriors are coming home now.

This isn’t theoretical for us. Our founder, Matthew “Whiz” Buckley - retired Navy TOPGUN F/A-18 fighter pilot - was at the end of his rope before he found his way to this kind of healing. It gave him his life back. He built this foundation so the next warrior wouldn’t have to find the door alone.

Our Executive Director, Susan Buckley, is a military spouse. She lived the deployments, the homecomings, the long quiet afterward. She knows what a family carries because she carried it.

TBI doesn’t injure one person. It injures a family. We serve the whole family.

And not every wound shows up on a scan. Many come home with moral injury - the weight of what they saw, what they did, what they couldn’t stop. Some come home questioning a faith they’ve held their whole lives. That doesn’t respond to a protocol. It takes community, meaning, and someone willing to sit in the dark with them. That’s why we work alongside faith-based partners who do exactly that.

A brain can heal while a soul is still starving.

Our warriors aren’t broken. Healing is restoration, not repair.

But we can’t stand by if we can’t afford to stand.

Every dollar puts a veteran and their family in front of help before the crisis - not after the funeral.

Fight’s On 🇺🇸

Return Home Ep. 12: This Is Our Why

In this episode, Theresa interviews Sacred Warrior Fellowship Founder and Chief, Matthew “Whiz” Buckley.

Whiz shares the hidden roots of the addiction, hopelessness, and inner battles he faced after serving as a TPGUN fighter pilot in the United States Navy. Through his journey of healing, he discovered remarkable parallels between military strategy and successfully trading stock options. He went on to found a business where he teaches others how to trade options with the same discipline, precision, and strategic mindset that once guided him over the skies of Iraq.

When he’s not mentoring traders or speaking at conferences and on national news programs, Whiz is passionately working to expand the reach of the No Fallen Heroes Foundation and Sacred Warrior Fellowship, helping more of our nation’s heroes access life-changing healing ceremonies.

Whiz shares his life changing direct experience with God through sacred sacraments and ceremony ✝️

In this conversation, Whiz also shares the deep bonds that unite the Fellowship’s leadership - including his wife, Suzi, fellow tribal leaders, and ceremony priestess Theresa. United by mutual respect, a shared mission, and an unwavering commitment to service, they are working together to restore hope, facilitate healing, and help end the epidemic of veteran suicide - one life at a time.

Last week, the VA and HHS signed a Memorandum of Understanding to accelerate psychedelic clinical trials for Veterans - expanding trial participation, training clinicians, and fast-tracking FDA data sharing so proven treatments reach the Veterans who need them.

This didn’t happen by accident.

No Fallen Heroes Foundation and our Founder, Matthew “Whiz” Buckley, have been at the leading edge of this fight for years. Our President met directly with VA Secretary Doug Collins and pushed for one thing above all: vouchers. If a Veteran comes out of pocket to heal themselves, they should be reimbursed. Period.

That advocacy earned Whiz an invitation from the President to the Oval Office for the signing of the Executive Order on Accelerating Medical Treatments for Serious Mental Illness - the order this MOU now puts into motion.

It’s rewarding to see this work pay off. But make no mistake: we’re just getting started.

Right now, Veterans are still forced to leave the United States to heal from trauma they incurred serving the United States. That is a disgrace. We need to start healing our heroes at home.

We will not stop until the suicide numbers come down and there are No Fallen Heroes.

Please doante to support our mission.

Fight’s On!

Look up at the night sky tonight. Every galaxy, every star, every mountain and sea - spoken into existence by the same God who decided the universe needed you.

So many of our warriors have forgotten that.

The wars, the wounds, the weight they carried home convinced them they were broken. Our founder knew that weight - until one night, on his knees, he heard the words that birthed this church:

“Matthew… I don’t make imperfect things.”

That’s the truth we exist to restore. Warriors don’t lose their identity because they’re weak - ego creeps in.

EGO = Edge God Out.

And when God gets edged out, we forget who we truly are.

Here’s the good news: you don’t have to become someone new. You only have to remember who you’ve always been.

That’s what our Sacred Warrior Retreat is for.

August 28–30, warriors, first responders, and seekers will gather in sacred ceremony, fellowship, and disciplined integration to reconnect with the God who made them - perfectly ✝️

Spots are limited and held for those ready to answer the call. Tap the link in our bio or visit sacredwarriorfellowship.com to request your place.

You were never broken. You just forgot.
