The final month of our 88th season is underway, and it’s off to a fantastic start. 🙌

This week saw our 25-day spring break come to an abrupt end as almost 30 inches of snow blanketed the slopes of Alta.

Monday’s sunshine and slush gave way to a strong spring storm and the return of storm skiing and deep turns. The skies cleared for a weekend filled with terrain openings and bluebird powder days.

We celebrated the return of snow with Friday’s long-awaited Powder 8s competition in honor of Alta’s 88th season. The Easter Bunny surprised us today with 3,500 hand-painted eggs in the Albion base area, followed by an Easter Brunch of leftover powder turns in Devil’s Castle.

This week is calling for more unsettled weather and a snowy Alta Earth Day on Saturday. 🌎

Closing Day of our 88th winter is Sunday, April 26th—let’s make the most of this final month of skiing.

Patient powder hounds harvested 28.5 inches of fresh snowfall under the sunshine today. After such a spring-like season, we all welcomed the return of powder and that endless Alta magic.✨

Taking the Wild along trails that barely even show.

@ztc770 keeps doing his thing, enjoying The Yes Machine and exploring every hidden corner of the mountains.

How about you? Where do you love to ride your Wild? Tell us!

Hard to pick just 20 moments from the last 8 years. So so many people to thank who made this place what it was. I’ll miss my UT family dearly.

Off to WA full time after talking a big game for a long time, but hard to imagine where I’d be without this place.

Stay golden Salt Lake, I’ll see you again soon (this winter). And plz visit the PNW any time.
