This game means so much more to me than just field hockey.

A recent graduate student Sydney Philippy ‘26 started this breast cancer awareness game at Tilton because she wanted to do something in honor of her cousin Dawn, who passed away from breast cancer during her sophomore year of high school. She wanted to find a way to keep her memory alive while making a difference for other families going through something similar.

What started as something personal to has turned into an opportunity to bring our community together for such an important cause. We so grateful to partner with a local foundation for the past 4 years, with 100% of the money raised going directly to them. From donations to our raffle jerseys, every bit of support means so much.

Although Dawn can’t be here to see this, there is no doubt this game would make her proud. Her memory will always live on through this game, honoring her, and those we have lost, and those who continue to battle breast cancer, small way to make a difference. Forever doing this for Dawn.🩷 Please come out and support our upcoming breast cancer game!!! Link to donate ➡️https://nhbcc.org
