Meet the official burger of the Woodstock Wine Festival 🍔🍷

In my ever-progressing (and slightly obsessive) pursuit of smoking better beef ribs, I was super stoked to finally meet Devin Wells, the man behind Zuney Wagyu. 🔥

What an experience! Devin took the time to show me around the farm and explain how they thoughtfully work with Wagyu and Angus genetics to produce beautifully marbled beef suited to our South African conditions.

The hospitality was incredible, and it was a real honour to finally meet the man behind the meat! 🥩

And I didn’t leave empty-handed either… Some beautiful Zuney Wagyu beef ribs and some Wagyu beef fat, which I’ll smoke into tallow, to put to the test on my offset smoker. Watch this space!
