Zur Alten Liebe is a new, limited-run pop-up from the same tightly knit team behind Bistro Fantasy, this time taking over the foyer of the ORF Funkhaus.

The Art Deco radio building on Argentinierstraße that broadcast Austrian radio and television for most of the twentieth century reopened somewhat recently as an events and culture space. This opening follows a run of short-lived, highly successful pop-ups already under the group’s belt, and carries the same instinct into grander surroundings.

“We felt there was still room for something that’s a bit more relaxed and playful,” says co-founder Elias Tichy. “It’s really about good food, good drinks and people having a good time.”

Zur Alten Liebe has begun its soft opening this week, welcoming reservations until 18th October before reopening again on 3rd November.
