POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

#tbt- so a few weeks ago, i did a thing: i featured on The Millenium Stage of The Kennedy Center for the first time. I’ve had the privilege of performing for The Millenium Stage many times before over the years, supporting other artist friends, but this was my first time up front. The timing was perfect because this year also marks the 20 year anniversary of my debut cd release, “Song of Solomon, Book I”, and this performance was the perfect opportunity to commemorate that by revisiting my “acoustic” roots, performing songs from that project with only my brother @micahderobinson on keys. It was a family show in the truest sense and I’m so thankful for my family that came out and joined me, especially my bros @zweirj & @kutimack without whom, there would be no Song of Solomon. I’ll post a proper reel later 😎

The number 2 means the WORLD to me…and for a myriad of reasons.

2/22/22 on a Tuesday = 2’sDay.

A day so NICE we get 2 do it TWICE…and won’t get 2 do again in my lifetime.

Remember when #Prince called 1999 back in 1982?

IJS 🤷🏾‍♂️
