Recently I’ve been really frustrated with golf and honestly, beating myself up a lot.

Every time I go to the range or step onto a course, I’d get nervous thinking: “I don’t have this”, “I’m not ready”, “why can’t I just fix my swing already?” 😅

Somehow I feel like I’m not improving… or even worse than I was 2 months ago.

I’ve never been someone who tries to be “inspiring”, I just wanted to play golf, have fun, and enjoy time with friends. But I edited this post to remind myself how far I’ve actually come in the last 7 months.

Is it perfect? Absolutely not.
Am I a naturally gifted beginner? Definitely not.
Do I still hit some questionable shots? Every single round. 😂

But I’m learning, I’m improving, and I’m still showing up.

And yes… I’m still here spending way too much money on golf gear and fits while trying to convince myself that looking the part helps the swing. 😂

To my fellow beginners: golf is fking hard to get into. Good on us for even trying.

Don’t forget to have fun along the way, and remember why we started in the first place. ⛳️

An evening at the opera. 🩷✨

There’s something timeless about Shakespeare, and Macbeth has always been one of my favourites. This New Zealand production was beautifully executed, elegant, powerful, and utterly captivating from beginning to end. So glad we got to experience it. 👏🏼 ❣️@zykasmith11

On Sunday night, we had the first @screen_n_swig , thanks to the hard work of @liamprisk_actor

Liam has created an awesome event that prioritises getting people in the room and giving filmmakers the opportunity to support one another by showing up, connecting, and screening their work for a live audience.

It was so great to see the connection, conversation, and the laughs at a time when that in-person element is especially needed.

It’s so important to support local — there is so much talent all around us, and events like this create a space for that talent to be seen and celebrated.

To many more 🥂

Immensely grateful for @theactorsprogram and their taster workshop this past week. Along with meeting some incredibly talented humans in both the tutors who shared so much insight into the world of performance and in the fellow individuals in this cohort (seriously, keep your eyes peeled, some of these faces will undoubtedly pop up on screens and stages in the near future), I’m left with such an appreciation for spaces like this that act as an open invitation to be vulnerable and explore what strengths we as individuals can bring to the table when we’re not being hindered by the fear of failure.

Mentally and physically exhausted, in the best way possible 😌

Jeepers what a fun five days that was. Sending so much love to the friends I made and to the wonderful tutors that I learned from this week. Missing it already.

Just spent a week fully immersed in @theactorsprogram through the 1 week taster course. What a week guys! It’s been an absolute blast. Had the privilege of being surrounded by this beautiful group of performers, and watching everyone push their limits and make new discoveries through their work. I am inspired by all of you.

We also worked with some fantastic tutors - big shout out to @jacquelinenairn , Beatriz Garcia and @jacdrew 🙌

Grateful for this week and all the openness, discovery and connection <3

…AND THAT’S A WRAP ON TASTER’S WEEK @theactorsprogram 2026!

Look at this bunch of talented people I’m learning, moving and acting with!

As an actor with no formal training and unsure of committing to a course, this one week is answering questions I didn’t know I had.

The week is action packed with Industry experts taking you through sessions in Voice (Cherie Moore and @cameron_rhodes_actor), Ensemble (@esausitomorando ), Yoga (@pamelasidhu ), Accent (@jacdrew ), Stage Acting (Beatriz Garcia) and Screen Acting (@jacquelinenairn ).

Absolutely recommend my fellow untrained actors to give it a shot.
