An overnight trip to Banff is not complete without a delectable breakfast at one of my faves @bluebirdbanff! I love their mid-century mountain steakhouse vibe complete with a gorgeous fireplace, not to mention their tempting menu with something for everyone. Some of my must haves at Bluebird include: - PRIME RIB AND FRIED EGG TOAST with their signature slow roasted prime rib, pimento cheese on thick brioche 😍 - HASH BROWNS - these perfectly crispy hash browns are an absolute must! Get a side order if your breakfast doesn't come with them; you won't regret it! - BRULÉED RUBY RED GRAPEFRUIT - the acidity from this perfectly balances the richness of the prime rib toast - THE BATTERY cold pressed juice from @stokejuiceca, with apple, kale, spinach, lemon, celery And if you're looking for gluten-free options, their SOUFFLE PANCAKES are a sure bet! And yes, their food was quite good too so you’re not just going for the views😂 Items featured: 🍽️ Smoked Salmon Pancakes - you get so much smoked salmon in this dish and it’s definitely a good option if you want pancakes but savoury 🍽️ Bangers and Mash - loved that they took a simple dish and absolutely elevated it! The sausage was juicy and it paired so well with the tangy caraway kraut which also had bitchs of bacon in it I highly recommend reserving a table closer to opening if your goal is to be seated by the windows with the stunning views💕

I eat for a living but THIS was one of the best dining experiences I have had in a very long time! 😮‍💨🍝 From the service to the atmosphere and of course, the food, @lupobanff blew our family away! It’s been weeks and we can’t stop talking about it! 😅 🍣 TUNA CRUDO was out of this world. Bold flavors, fresh fish, I’ve never had anything like it. The melon flavors shined and the dressing and oils added a fatty richness. This dish was perfection. 🍋MAFALDINE AL LIMONE is THE pasta dish if you love fun pasta shapes, cheese, and lemon. I love savory lemon dishes, but it’s hard to find one that gets the lemon flavor just right, and this dish did just that! 🌶️ SPICY RIGATONI ALLA VODKA … creamy, cheesy, acidic, spicy with al dente pasta. A classic done right!!! Don’t sleep on those beets either, they were phenomenal!!! If you’re in Banff, this is the one spot you absolutely cannot miss out on.
