It is the birthplace of rapper 070 Shake, former CIA Director John Brennan, filmmaker James L. Brooks, and heavyweight boxing champion James Braddock, and it is also the birthplace of HudPost.

@cousinsburgerco 🍔🍟 WHERE TO GRAB LUNCH AFTER JURY DUTY IN BERGEN COUNTY! 👩‍⚖️ 😋 Today I had jury duty in Hackensack, and I found the perfect spot for lunch just a short walk from the Bergen County Courthouse! 👩‍⚖️➡️🍔 We stopped at Cousin’s Burger in downtown Hackensack and WOW… we tried a little bit of everything! 🤤👇 🍎 Hank’s Caramel Apple Soda 🍇 Hank’s Grape Soda 🍗 Classic Chicken Loaded Fries — crispy chicken tenders, house sauce + pickles over crispy fries 🍗 Chicken Wings — we tried two flavors and these would be SO good for game day! 🏈 🥩 Ribeye Philly Cheesesteak — USDA prime ribeye, Cooper Sharp cheese, sweet onions + a fresh seeded roll 🍔 Heat Smashburger — American cheese, crispy fried onions, jalapeños + heat house sauce 🍓 Strawberry Hand-Spun Milkshake But let’s talk about that CHEESESTEAK. 😍🧀🥩 I’ve had a Philly cheesesteak in Philadelphia, so I was NOT expecting to say this… but this was literally the BEST cheesesteak I’ve ever had! 🤯🔥 The meat was so flavorful, the cheese was perfectly melty and every bite was just SO good. Have you heard? An AT&T employee was arrested Saturday after allegedly making a bomb threat at a Target store in Edgewater, police said. Authorities responded to a reported threat at the Target located at 543 River Road, prompting an evacuation of the store. Police later determined there was no danger, and the store reopened within an hour. Investigators identified the suspect as 22-year-old Jossi Duarte, a sales representative. According to police, surveillance video shows Duarte leaving her work area, stopping in a nearby aisle, and making the threat using her cellphone. She was later arrested at her home in West New York. Six men in two cars had arrived minutes earlier. A child was grabbed so no one could call 911. Jewelry, cash and designer bags were all gone.
