Sooo many things I did NOT know about getting rhinoplasty! 👃 having absolutely no taste or smell was a shocker 👃 only being able to eat soft foods because it’s hard to move my mouth and my teeth and throat are sore 👃 having to use a baby toothbrush because I can’t fit my regular one into my mouth 👃sleeping sitting up 💀 this was rough 👃soo much icing and still sooo soooo much swelling Still wouldn’t trade it for nothing! Do your nostrils collapse when you breathe in? That’s a classic case of Nasal Valve Collapse ✨ What is Nasal Valve Collapse? Nasal Valve Collapse is an obstruction of the nasal passages that causes difficultly breathing. If you breathe in deeply and notice that your external walls of your nose “collapse” it is a sign of Nasal Valve Collapse. To correct this issue we take the cartilage from the septum and strategically place it under the surface of the skin to hold the nose open and create more space in the airway. Our lovely patient here is 15 and has been struggling with breathing issues and aesthetically wanted a cuter and more feminine nose. 13 days until I fly to Turkey with @tkchealth.tr for my deviated septum surgery ✈️🇹🇷 I’ll be honest… I’ve gone down a full TikTok rabbit hole watching recovery videos and now I’m slightly panicking about the pain 😅 Everyone makes it look brutal! Would you try this instead of surgery? I broke my nose when I was young and had a deviated septum. No joke, my breathing was improved 50% after this one adjustment. I didn’t go back because it was horrific, but I would highly recommend it, before getting cut open. 😂

I can’t believe it’s already been 2 months since I got my septo/rhinoplasty!
