A 13-year-old boy, identified by family friends as Emiliano "Emmy" Munoz, tragically died after riding his e-bike into a cable in an Everett neighborhood. The incident happened near the 8800 block of 5th Avenue on Friday around 4:30 p.m. when Munoz struck the cable, which hit him in the neck and damaged his vocal cords. Despite efforts to save the young teen, Munoz's family made the difficult decision to take him off life support just days after the accident. A growing memorial has been set up by those who knew the teen. Neighbors reported that the cable had been up for years. KOMO News spoke briefly with the homeowner, who claimed that someone else in the neighborhood installed the cable and that reflectors were added for visibility. Pensacola Police say that around 9:20 p.m., an officer tried to stop a vehicle driven by a 31-year-old Pensacola woman, but the vehicle fled and hit another vehicle at T and Avery Street approximately 30 seconds later. The driver of the second vehicle -- a 48-year-old Pensacola man -- was pronounced dead on scene, police say. Florida Highway Patrol says the 31-year-old woman ran a stop sign, which caused the crash. "It is unclear at this point if the officer was pursuing the suspect vehicle or not," Pensacola Police say.
