Dressed to impress for the holidays or any special occasion, they’re easy, delicious and just so darn cute! 🤩🫒🧀 Originally from my Brilliant Bites cookbook, there’s a reason this charcuterie appetizer is a popular favorite with nearly 20M views! 🤭 INGREDIENTS (makes 40): 40 pieces farfalle “bow-tie” pasta 1 tablespoon olive oil 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning 1 (7 ounce) block aged white cheddar 20 large pimento-stuffed green olives 20 large pitted whole black olives 40 peppered salami slices Cook the pasta to al dente according to the package directions. Drain and let dry, then toss with the olive oil, garlic salt, and Italian seasoning. Slice the cheese into forty 3/4-inch blocks that are 1/2 inch thick. To assemble, on a food pick, place a piece of bow-tie pasta, an olive—either green or black—a folded slice of salami, and a small block of cheese. If you’re looking to impress your guests this Easter, this elevated charcuterie board is the moment with a simple but unexpected twist. Instead of the usual crackers or chips, I swapped them out for feta and spinach spanakopita triangles from @cuisine_adventures and they’re the star of the show. They’re vegetarian, made with no artificial flavours or colours, and bring a light, flaky texture that pairs beautifully with everything on the board. How to build it: Start by baking the spanakopita until golden and crispy, then place them front and centre. Arrange your meats around them, add slices of smoked cheddar, small piles of olives, and clusters of grapes to fill the board. (Optional, you can add fresh berries and drizzle a bit of honey over the spanakopita). Just bake, arrange, and serve, it’s effortless, but looks (and tastes) so elevated. You can find them at select Costco warehouses and trust me, your guests will be asking where they’re from!
