When this beautiful young queen @awarodhiang walked the Chanel runway for Sp 26. My heart dropped. It was everything!! So much joy,beauty,fierceness and rhythm all in her stride. You could feel it. And when she hugged @mathieublazy at the end. I teared up. Loved ❤️. People don’t realize how much work goes into creating a collection and runway shows. A aguardadíssima estreia de @matthieu_blazy à frente da @chanelofficial foi como um meteoro — que atingiu em cheio esse universo de códigos tão enraizados no nosso inconsciente coletivo.☄️ Mas, em vez de destruir, ele transformou. Os primeiros tailleurs surgiram em flanela cinza, inspirados nos ternos de Boy Capel, o grande amor de Coco. Havia modelagens masculinas, calças de corte bold, blazers de oficial — e uma nova saia envelope com bolsos, cortada na altura do joelho e propositalmente desfiada. Os tecidos alternavam entre o tweed leve e transparente, tartans aéreos, pequenos carreaux e até um denim rígido. Quase não se viam correntes, praticamente não se viam logos. Os códigos da casa estavam ali — mas de forma sutil, discreta, elegante. Os tweeds, símbolo eterno da maison, se desfacelavam, transformados em franjas, em movimento, em liberdade. As bolsas clássicas foram literalmente implodidas. Boom! E então veio o vestido de cetim líquido, que deslizava sobre o corpo com uma única grande camélia, como se ela tivesse brotado ali. Para completar, uma simples camisa branca, a mesma com que Nicole Kidman foi anunciada como embaixadora da marca. Ela apareceu usada com uma saia exuberante. A impressão que ficou é de uma mulher não fantasiada, mas vestida de Chanel. O encontro entre o luxo e o despojamento, entre o extraordinário e o cotidiano. High low? Eu diria um raio no low! ⚡️ Foi um desfile de alto impacto e exímia qualidade artesanal, coroado por uma longa ovação de pé, quando Awar Odhiang encerrou o show aplaudindo o próprio público. As much as we love Chanel, this collection felt a bit confused. Forget not looking “Chanel” it actually feels like it’s from multiple brands altogether. Surprisingly, we don’t even see Bottega as such. What we do see is Ralph & Russo, a little Jacquemus, some Miu Miu, even Prada -maybe a touch of Alexander McQueen. Just… not Chanel. Great outfits and aesthetics, for sure though. The see-through tweed isn’t helping either. Tweed is meant to feel rich and luxurious, and the sheer treatment takes that away completely. The only thing that still says Chanel here is the occasional classic shoe we saw with a few looks. The jewelry too is just not Chanel. Let’s see what the Métiers d’Art collection has in store. #chanelfallwinter #mathieublazy #bottegaveneta
