“One of the first people I think about when I think about a Man for Others is Erik Kristensen.” In anticipation of the Erik S. Kristensen Eye Street Klassic coming up on Friday, May 1, we share this reflection from Erik’s former classmate and good friend, Randy Stone ‘90. We hope you will join us for this year’s tournament, which takes place at P.B. Dye – to honor and remember Erik, and to raise funds for the scholarship fund in his name on Eye Street, which benefits Gonzaga students from military families. Click the link in bio to register to play. #MenForOthers #AMDG

Our JV players assisted their coach & CHS Athletic Hall of Famer Joe Zera ‘01 at this week’s terrific basketball clinic with participants from all over Western New York while our No. 1-ranked varsity team took on top competition in Florida. Students and families interested in the excellence only found in a Jesuit education at Canisius — ranked as the Buffalo area’s “Best Catholic School” by Niche.com – can learn more by scheduling an on-campus experience at cansiushigh.org/visit This place is special. Let us show you why. #amdg #menforothers #gocrusaders #nfloncbs #gobills

Foodie Friday with Fr. Albin is back and this one is extra cool! This month we’re spotlighting Prep alumnus Brandon Elwood ’03, who’s helping deliver sweet treats all across the region. After a behind-the-scenes tour of the ice cream freezer (it was -20 in there!), Fr. Albin heads to Bluejays Ice Cream & Candy, where you can find Prime Time Ice Cream stocking the freezers. Brandon shared that much of his success traces back to his time at Prep: to teachers who believed in him and a community that encouraged him to chase big goals. It’s a full-circle moment to see that same spirit carried into his work today. Watch this month's spotlight and treat yourself to the story. #FoodieFriday #CreightonPrep #MenForOthers

Fr. Vincent Giacabazi, S.J. is one month into his tenure as the 27th president of Jesuit High School since the school's founding in 1899. This message is his greeting to the alumni, students, families, friends, and supporters of Jesuit on the eve of the 2025-26 school year. Fr. Giacabazi comes to Jesuit after 10 years at @rockhursths, a Jesuit high school in Kansas City, Mo., including the last six as Rockhurst's principal. He has a strong familiarity with Jesuit High School from serving on the school's Board of Trustees for the past nine years. Fr. Giacabazi succeeds Mike Scicchitano '01, Jesuit's principal who served as interim president last school year, and Fr. Richard C. Hermes, S.J., the longest-tenured president in school history at 16 years, in the president's office inside Hyer Hall on Loyola Lane. #AMDG #MenforOthers #JesuitHighSchool @jesuitschools @jesuitscentral @gulfcoastcatholic @baynews9
