In case you missed it: During yesterday’s Community Development and Human Services Committee meeting, Mayor Andre Dickens passionately discussed why access to grocery stores in every neighborhood matters.
Access to fresh food is more than convenience — it’s about health, opportunity, and quality of life.
Through the City’s Neighborhood Reinvestment Initiative, Atlanta is continuing to invest in underserved communities by supporting grocery access, neighborhood-focused development, and partnerships that create stronger, healthier communities across the city. Because every Atlanta family deserves access to healthy, affordable food close to home.
All of Atlanta deserves the best of Atlanta .

A timestamp for the city. 🎨✨
As Atlanta prepares to welcome the world for the @fifaworldcup, artists are helping tell the story of who we are, block by block.
These murals are more than paint on walls. They are a celebration of one Atlanta, the communities that shape us, and the creative spirit that makes this city feel alive.
Beautifying Atlanta. Honoring the culture. Leaving something beautiful behind.
