🚨 UPDATE: They finally fixed the biggest concern at Leal Family Park in Eastvale! This super unique pump track playground had everyone talking, and I can once again confirm it’s open to the public. Even better, they’ve now added a gate around the entire park, making it much safer for little ones. If you haven’t been yet, it’s definitely one of the most unique parks we’ve visited in Southern California. I honestly thought SeaWorld was just about rides and shows, but we left with a completely different perspective. The kids were curious all day, loved seeing marine life up close, and we learned that every visit helps support animal rescue and conservation efforts—which made the experience even more meaningful. 🐢 SEA TURTLES in the San Gabriel River?! 💚 Sea turtles are one of our girls’ favorite animals, so when we heard there were actual Pacific green sea turtles living in the San Gabriel River, we had to go find them! It turned into quite the adventure we walked close to 5 miles total 😂 but it was SO worth it! 📍 Where We Parked: Edison Park 99 College Park Dr. Seal Beach, CA 90740 From the back of the park, we got onto the San Gabriel River Trail and walked about 2 miles to the turtle area. 🥾 Come prepared! There’s some up and down along the trail, and we even had to walk across the river, so I recommend water-friendly hiking shoes. 🚗 Shorter Option: 7100 E Atherton St. Long Beach, CA 90815 This gets you much closer, BUT ⚠️ we were told you could potentially get fined for parking/access here, so please read all posted signs carefully. 🚲 If we did it again, we would definitely bring bikes! After seeing the turtles, the girls and I waited while Daddy walked all the way back to Edison Park to grab the car. 😂 🐢 Turtle Tip: Watch the surface for little heads, shells and ripples. They pop up FAST, so be patient! 🗑️ And if you can, bring a trash bag and pick up a little trash along the way.
