It was love at first bite when we visited @onefattenedcalf several months ago, and as we discovered on every visit since, nothing changes. Consistency is important in F&B, and they nail it. Their potato buns, freshly-baked on the premises daily, are still as amazingly fluffy and soft. And the patties made from ground grass-fed New Zealand beef are never not juicy and flavourful from being charred just enough on the plancha. Sweetish pickles and a lip-smacking sauce (both made in-house too) rise to the occasion each time to balance out the richness in the CheeseBurger and the thick cold slabs of butter in the ButterBurger. @huatkaliao and I find their burgers flawlessly designed and fit our personal preference to a T. We also enjoy their fat potatoey fries, whether plain or blanketed in nacho cheese and a sprinkle of spices.
