It’s true 🫢 I don’t care WHO you are, WHERE you’re from, WHAT you did… when it comes to ordering molecular profiling for patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC)‼️‼️ If you or a loved one has been diagnosed with NSCLC, it’s so important to talk with your team about biomarker testing. This testing helps identify specific genetic characteristics of the cancer, which can guide treatment decisions and potentially lead to more effective therapies 🧬🎯 Unfortunately, studies show that between 20% to 40% of eligible patients DO NOT receive this important testing, with Black and Hispanic patients being about 20%- 30% and 10%-25% less likely, respectively, to undergo biomarker testing compared to White patients.
