Oh Daddy! 😍 Daddy?.. 😅 Yeah! Because we just received a batch of Dobb Daddy at www.charliesfishing.com ✅ Available in many colors and the good thing? Anyone can fish it! 😍 The Dobb Daddy is built for spinning anglers who want to fish a pike fly without using a fly rod. By combining a heavy casting plug with a fly-style hook rig, this system lets you cast and retrieve a pike fly on a regular spinning setup while keeping the presentation close to the way a fly fisherman would fish it. The system is based around a 15 gram plug, giving enough casting weight for controlled distance and accurate placement with a spinning rod. Because the full setup is threaded onto the leader, it is easy to adjust, tune and customise to match your preferred rigging style, fishing situation and retrieve. With the cone head and hook rig included, the total weight is approximately 28 grams.

In the last few weeks, I have worked on this pattern with bucktail. I went with the idea of tying the mono extension on the stinger hook. Actually, the main idea was to find something other than big curly tails. I wanted to incorporate the tail more into the general look of the fly. The whole fly is tied with two colors of bucktail: white and an awesome mixed white and pink. I know that it's quite big fly, over 25cm, but I have heard that pike like big flies, right? Watched youtube videoes from @bucktailflies in the proces to learn some great techniques 👍 Feel free to leave a comment if you have questions about tying a fly like this! #bucktail #beastflies #pikefly #flyporn #bucktailfly
