I’m the youngest of five and since I was a little girl, I’ve always knew I wanted to adopt a child. When I was pregnant with our now 4 year old, Lil Jay I told @misterjayjordan that even though we would have our own children, I wanted to adopted. As I was going on stage to moderate a panel, he shared that because of him having a felony conviction that will never be something we can do. I was devastated and cried before starting. Just like that, a mistake from years ago can take away the hopes and dreams you had. That’s why @timedoneusa is needed and necessary. So that families and people can go on with their lives and fulfill their dreams. āœŠšŸ½ RP @timedoneusa 惻惻惻 šŸ” 90 of the fastest 100 growing occupations don’t hire people with records. How is this fair? Over 48,000 systemic barriers actually prevent families from gaining stability when welcoming back a loved one who is able to contribute to the workforce. It’s time we work together to change these outdated policies and open up more avenues for people who really deserve a chance at redemption. Nobody gets out of prison and says they WANT to go back. #prisonlife #recidivism #incarcerated
In a Utah parole hearing that’s left jaws on the floor, one man took defiance to a whole new level. Picture this: a packed room, tension thick, as he faces the parole board yet again. His record? A laundry list of felonies, a rap sheet screaming trouble. Sentenced to 15 years, he’s been paroled six times—and every single time, he’s landed back behind bars for violating parole. Utah’s prisons are no stranger to dangerous, antisocial men, but this guy? He’s done playing the game. At the end of his hearing, unprovoked, he looks the board in the eye and tells them to—well, let’s just say it’s a phrase so crude it’s never been heard in a Utah parole hearing before. No remorse, no filter, just raw defiance. Maybe, after six failed paroles, he’s decided honesty is his only move. But with his history, it’s hard to believe he won’t be back, facing new felony charges before long. This isn’t just a story of one man’s outburst—it’s a glaring spotlight on a system that keeps cycling dangerous offenders through revolving doors. Why does Utah keep paroling him, only to see him return? What does it take to break the cycle? Catch the full, unfiltered hearing on Mandoo Channel One’s Utah playlist. You won’t believe it until you see it. #UtahParole #CrimeAndJustice #ParoleHearing #SystemFail #mandoo #TrueCrime #Recidivism #JusticeSystem

Purpose. Partnership. Progress. šŸ¤ Sharing some of the work I’ve been doing through @winningwaysinc and the time I spent in Orlando with @dream.corps alongside the legend himself — @blairunderwood_official — at the XCEL Summit for Men by @blackenterprise šŸ™šŸ¾ As we were taking this photo, Blair asked about the bear on my suit jacket 🐻 — and that moment turned into something special. The Bear is part of a campaign I’ve l partnered with @winningwaysinc . Each bear purchase goes towards helping to provide services for individuals coming home from incarceration. He’s not just a legend, he’s a pioneer for our generation. Seeing @davidbanner give him his flowers for what he’s meant to us as dark-skinned Black Kings šŸ‘‘ was powerful. My heart’s been finding new purpose lately — especially in reentry work. Partnering with @theblackmancan to work with juvenile youth in Los Angeles further opened my eyes to the realities of incarceration and what it truly means to come home. The barriers to real reentry are serious. Recidivism is a dangerous cycle. After almost 20 years working with youth, I’ve also found myself adding this layer of work within prisons — and seeing the power of redemption, healing, and community firsthand. That’s why I’ve partnered with @winningwaysinc on a new campaign to keep pushing this mission forward šŸ’Æ This is bigger than programs — it’s about purpose, hope, and building pathways for transformation. #BlackEnterprise #TheBlackManCan #DreamCorps #FrankEBrady #Reentry #Recidivism #TheHopeDealer #BlairUnderwood #WinningWaysInc #PurposeWork #ImpactOverEverything
Is there institutional bias in probation services? Anecdotally, some believe that Muslims leaving prison don't receive enough rehabilitation attention. #probationservice #institutionalbias #rehabilitation #recidivism #prisonreform #communitysupport #socialjustice
From SHU to summit Solitary was the closest I’ve ever come to disappearing. No sound. No clocks. Just me and the echo of my own bullsh!t. I’d stare at the ceiling for hours, counting the same damn holes in the ceiling. But it was in that emptiness that something cracked open. I realized: I’ve gone as far as I want down this road. What if I turned back? What if I went the other way? That wasn’t hope—it was desperation. But that tiny shift in thinking changed my life. I didn’t wake up the next day a new man. I had to fight like hell. But that decision—right there in that concrete coffin—was the beginning. Now I get to live a life I never thought possible. And if you’re stuck, broken, or buried in regret… Let me remind you: you’re just one decision away from a totally different life. ā€œCould today be your turning point?ā€ šŸ—£ļø Our mission is to inspire those facing adversity by sharing powerful stories of resilience and triumph through extreme sports videos. šŸ™ PLEASE share this video to help with our mission **** #adventuresports #adventuretravel #adventurecouple #vanlife #paragliding #skydiving #worldtravel #captainmanicorn #inspiration #motivation #getoutside #followyourdreams #insta360 #excon #recidivism #prison #prisonlife #mentalhealth #addictionawareness #addiction #recoveringaddict #motivation101 #motivational #nevergiveup #motivationalquotes #rockbottomstory #solitaryconfinement #lifechangingdecision
There are countless events and occurrences young boys & grown men have encountered that would absolutely place them at risk for developing PTSD. Many of those situations are overlooked or even dismissed. At this point, I am unsure if it is intentional or simply represents the lack of care or concern for men's mental health, especially Black men. 😌 As an advocate, I am unfiltered when I say it is greatly responsible for many of the current prison, mental illness, divorce, poverty, morbidity, mortality, & suicide rates among minority men. Among mental health & government-based organizations, this is common knowledge. āœļøšŸ½ My question is, why are there limited resources expended on rehabilitation rather than punitive action? šŸ¤” Topic for another day. šŸ’ŖšŸ½ Men's Mental Health Matters. šŸ’™šŸ’™šŸ’™ #TaneshaJulesNobles #mentalhealth #menshealth #mentalwellness #recidivism #mensmentalhealthawareness #PMHNP #anxiety #depression #ptsd #stressrelief #singlefathers #fathersmatter #prisontiktok #mentalwellbeing #rehabilitation #divorce #prisonreform #therapytiktok #nursepractitioner
I never thought a letter like this would be written about something I helped build. Dr. Ivan Zinger, the Correctional Investigator of Canada, shared his support for Red Rebel Armour — and the work we’re doing to reduce recidivism, restore hope, and create meaningful opportunities for people coming home. I wanted to read this letter out loud — not for recognition, but because this isn’t just my story. It belongs to everyone who’s supported our brand, our team, and our vision. We’re now looking for angel investors, grantmakers, and partners who believe in Indigenous-led social impact. šŸ™ŒšŸ½ If you know someone who should hear this — tag them or share this with them. Miigwech for walking with us. #RedRebelArmour #SecondChances #JusticeReform #IndigenousBusiness #RestoringHope #ImpactInvesting #AngelInvestors #Recidivism #SocialEnterprise
