Acadia National Park is known for its rugged, rocky sea cliffs, but thereʻs one spot—Sand Beach—where the huge swath of golden sand reminded the boys of home in Hawaii...with water thatʻs just a touch colder (about 55 degrees in the summer!) 🥶☀️ For hardcore Maine surfers, this spot is a regional classic for surf in the hurricane swells of fall, but even the cold water couldnʻt keep these boys from jumping in to ride few waves and bodysurf in the shorebreak. 🏄‍♂️ Is it a secret? No—thereʻs a line of cars about 1,000 cars long stretching all the way back to Bar Harbor! 🚗 If you go in peak season (like we did in July), get there early (first hour after sunrise), and try and focus on the coastal beauty, instead of the crushing crowds. Crispy on the outside, creamy and cheesy on the inside - this classic melt chicken sandwich is pure comfort in every bite 9V recipe: For the Chicken: In a bowl, add 330g boneless chicken, salt to taste, 1 tsp paprika powder, 1 tosp garlic powder, ½ tsp black pepper powder, and ½ tsp white pepper powder. Mix well to coat the chicken evenly. Heat 2-3 tbsp oil in a pan and cook the chicken on low to medium flame for 8-9 minutes, or until fully cooked. Let it cool, then shred the chicken. For the Filling: In the shredded chicken, add ½ cup finely chopped cabbage, ½ cup chopped capsicum, ¾ cup garlic mayo, 2 tbsp hot sauce, ½ tsp black pepper powder, ½ tsp white pepper powder, and salt to taste. Mix everything well — your creamy chicken filling is ready. Assembling the Sandwich: Take a slice of bread, spread the chicken filling, and place mozzarella cheese slices on top. Cover with another bread slice and repeat if making multiple sandwiches. Heat a pan with a little butter and grill the sandwiches until golden and crispy on both sides.
