For the longest time, I thought salvation was something I had to earn.
Then I started learning about Jesus and reading my Bible for myself… and understanding grace changed everything. ❤️
Romans 10:9–10 points us to believing in our hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead and confessing Him as Lord. Ephesians 2:8–9 reminds us that salvation is God’s gift, received through faith.
Repentance matters. Turning to God matters. But I can’t earn salvation through my own goodness or by getting everything right. Jesus is the one who saves me.
And the more I come to know Him, the more I want to follow Him. That obedience grows from my faith and love for Him.

What does REPENT really mean? Does repentance mean you must stop sinning to be saved—or keep repenting of sins to stay forgiven?
Salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ, once, by grace. Repentance of unbelief means changing your mind about Him and trusting His finished work. Your promise to do better cannot accomplish what His blood already accomplished.
Turning from harmful choices is good for you and the people around you. But changing your behavior doesn’t purchase salvation or maintain your forgiveness. Jesus saves you completely. His cross worked.
Save this reminder, share it with someone exhausted by performance-based religion.

Sometimes it’s tears of sadness, but mostly it’s ALL that He’s done for me. He’s been patient with me. He’s been forgiving over and over. hHe’s shown me grace when I didn’t deserve it. hHe’s extended a hand when I wanted nothing to do with him.

Some Christians will still be angry at me because they say I don’t believe in God’s grace and then in the same moment be angry at me because I say by God’s grace He will save All His children with few exceptions. Make it make sense!

Your Christian walk should reflect your identity in Christ, but your performance is not what establishes that identity.
We are called to grow, mature, and walk worthy of our calling. But struggling to live out the truth doesn’t automatically mean someone never believed it.
Salvation and discipleship are not the same thing.
One is received by faith. The other is a lifelong journey of learning to live according to who Christ has already made us.
We don’t obey to become accepted. We pursue obedience because we already are accepted in Christ.
Stop confusing imperfect discipleship with nonexistent salvation.

you cannot earn God’s blessings with your good behavior.
that’s not how grace works.
He didn’t save you because you read your bible every day. He saved you because He loves you. full stop.
stop following Jesus for what He can give you and start following Him for who He is.
the husband, the family, the life you’re believing for. surrender it. all of it.
