Hi!! if you’re new here (or have been around a while), I figured it was time for a little re-introduction. :D

I’m Kelsey, the maker behind Tahoe Pine. i’m a Metalsmith, runner, skier, animal lover, Deadhead, slightly chaotic creative, and forever inspired by Lake Tahoe. 🥹

Everything I make is rooted in the places and creatures that have shaped me. I feel most like myself outside, and Tahoe Pine is really just an extension of that.🩵🌲

Introducing THE SLAG TEAM. 💕👯‍♀️🌨️ 👑 All 27 of them. Skiers, snowboarders, instructors, patrollers, coaches, and full-time glitter distributors.
I read a lot of applications and of course, it was another hard decision. A few that stood were a girl with a skijor dream (she just needs a horse!), another with @skilikeagirl__ already in their bio (🥹), and too many already rocking beanies, skis with SLAG stickers and a mission to get more girls on the mountains. The team is picked. The season starts now!

🌸🐟 october collection 🐻🌲

a special batch of pieces that I had so much fun creating. thank you for spreading the stoke & supporting me! I am so endlessly grateful 🥹 I really couldn’t do it without ya!

over the past couple of years of creating & silversmithing, learning to trust my creativity, try new things, & lean into the ideas that feel like me has been so fun and fulfilling. so much of my work comes from the critters & nature I’m inspired by and all the little things in my life that I’m drawn to. I love to doodle & incorporate my silly little doodled critters into my work, and it means SO much that these guys resonate with so many of you. thank you for seeing my creativity & celebrating it with me. 🩵

every collection feels special in its own way. a little celebration of lots of hours spent at my bench, learning new things & bringing new or cherished designs to life. I feel so honored getting to share these pieces with you all & seeing where they end up! handmade jewelry is an investment, and I never take it for granted when someone chooses to bring a little piece of my work into their life. it means more than ya know!! 🥹🩵

I am so stoked to share these rings with you all! specifically these Montana sapphire rings! 🩵🌲⛰️✨

all my pieces are made with lots of love & care, but these ones specifically got a little extra 🥹 the bands are made from reclaimed silver- meaning I took silver scrap, melted it down into an ingot, and hand-rolled it out into workable silver wire. they took some extra love & care, and paired with the Montana sapphires, they are super special pieces!

I did my best to capture how these look in person (& they are so sparkly & 10x yummier in person). these were a new skill that was so fun to learn. I can’t wait to share these pieces, as well as the Montana agate trout + landscape jasper ring, as well!

they will be available this Thursday || 7pm MST 🩵✨

🍁🐻 a little peek into my october collection!! ✨🌲

this collection is LONG overdue! I have been busy busy working up some very special pieces that I am so stoked to finally be sharing with you! I learned a new skill, found new inspirations, took it really slow & intentional making these pieces as handmade work is. 🩵

as well as some new merchy merch that I cannot wait to share more of! 👀

🐟🐻 girl dinner ✨🎣

recent creations & inspirations!!

I’ve been enjoying some time at my bench really digging into some new ideas in my melon. It’s been really refreshing to explore new ideas and get out of some of the more mundane parts of running a business. Don’t get me wrong, there’s something really nice about an easy comfortable flow. Creating different renditions of past pieces is something I’ll always enjoy and am so happy to do! I’m so grateful to have designs that are cherished by so many. :,))

But finding a balance between taking the time to create for me, expressing new parts of myself, while also cherishing the older parts i am finding it to be tricky to balance!

I also just started my last semester of my undergraduate program in Exercise Science :,)) A time in my life I genuinely thought would never happen. It’s a really special time for me, and I want to soak up every bit of it! i feel spoiled to have the opportunity to be a student in a field I am so fascinated, curious, and inspired by. 🏃🏽‍♀️

I’m still here behind the scenes creating, learning, doodling, and getting excited about new things. 🐟🌞

I hope life is good for ya! Keep pursuing what’s important to you & challenge yourself!!

I wanted to take a little time to share some new pieces I made inspired by my time in Nepal trekking to EBC. 🥹🇳🇵

I’ve shared some of my experiences from Nepal already, but that place touched my soul in a way that’s hard to put into words. And honestly, I think that’s okay. Some things can just be between Nepal and I. :,))

Before leaving, I made a Himalayan inspired mountain cuff for myself to wear along the trek. After coming home I doodled the things that stuck out to me along the way- Ama Dablam & Everest of course ;) specifically the view we had hiking up Kala Patthar Peak (5,644 m / 18,519 ft.)

& the Himalayan griffon. 🦅 This little guy became such a meaningful part of my time in Nepal!

These EBC cuffs and Ama Dablam cuff were made for dear friends I made from our trek. these are peeps who I adore greatly!

I’ll never forget my time in Nepal, the people I met, the mountains I got to roam among, or all the little bits of inspiration I brought home with me!

Something I’ve been sitting with lately is just how incredibly grateful I am for the love and support I’ve received through Tahoe Pine. 🤍

Something that has been both surprising and really special is realizing that many of the people who interact with my work, purchase pieces, share my posts, and cheer me on are people I don’t personally know.

People who don’t know me, but still choose to support me & the things I’m creating

I very, very much cherish the friendships, connections, and community that have come from Tahoe Pine. It has been so special getting to know people through this space and seeing how this little creative adventure has brought people together.

there is something really special finding a community that’s resonates with the same things you love

I say this as a v sensitive gal, who cares deeply about the things i create & the communities i’m apart of. it’s a beautyyy reminder of how meaningful genuine support can be.

It has reminded me how powerful community can be, and I can’t ever imagine taking that for granted.

I’ve also been thinking a lot about how special it is to celebrate, acknowledge, and cheer someone on in their successes, dreams, ambitions, and creativity.

Someone else’s success doesn’t take away from our own.

There is room for all of us to create, grow, celebrate one another, and feel seen. 💛

I feel so grateful to have a space where I can explore creativity, express my passions, and create pieces that bring joy, pieces made by my two mitts that find homes with people who love them, wear them, take them along on their adventures, and cherish them for years to come.
