Today i would have called you!!!, to bant about another mothers day. This date today 2 months ago was the last time i saw you. Tomorrow makes it 2 month you left. Left to be with the Lord. Left without saying goodbye. Goodbye cause we were confident you would stay here. Here where you fought a good fight till your last breath with so much strength. The strength you gave is what we have drawn from but honestly, its been tough without you. I know you are in a better place seated at the right hand of the Almighty. This i thank God for. I miss you. Your children and grandchildren miss you. Happy mothers day Mom. by @tai_ade

THANK YOU CANON FOR THE SPONSORSHIP.

On behalf of the Lasppan Youth Conference and World Photography Day 2025 planning committee, we sincerely appreciate Canon for being our official sponsor.

Your partnership added great value to this year’s conference. By standing with us, you helped create an atmosphere that truly celebrated creativity, photography, and the power of visual storytelling.

Canon has always been a name that represents excellence and having you sponsor us on a day as significant as World Photography Day gave our event a unique sense of purpose and inspiration. Your support reminded everyone present of the importance of nurturing young talents and providing platforms where they can learn, connect, and grow.

We are grateful for the trust you placed in us and for choosing to journey with us at Lasppan Youth Conference 4.0. Your presence was felt, and your contribution will be remembered.

Thank you, Canon, for being part of our story this year.

With appreciation,

Douye Mercy

Among the notable projects I worked on this year, The Experience 19 stands out as a special one — the world’s largest gospel music concert. For 19 years and counting, I’ve had the privilege of serving as the official Photographer, capturing the energy, emotions and unforgettable moments of this extraordinary event.

With 2024 coming to a close, I’m gearing up for what lies ahead. The work is cut out for me, but I’m energized and excited for all the opportunities 2025 will bring —new stories, fresh perspectives and more moments to freeze in time. Here’s to the journey ahead!
