november’s analog club mail is a little different. for the first time, the postcard isn’t mine. this month the art is by taia leituala @taialeituala , a transdisciplinary artist and designer who loves putting tendrils out in a bunch of directions to see how they change over time. the poems are by lyss otto @lyssotto , a public health person, reproductive justice advocate and peace corps youth health educator in paraguay, who also writes poems and collects stories from the places and people that make the world feel a little smaller. i used to illustrate every postcard myself. now some months it’ll be someone else’s hand, usually a local or emerging illustrator, and always someone i’ve picked on purpose. the poet stays a monthly fixture, picked the same way. i like that the club gets to be a small room with more than one person in it. subscribe before 11/1 and the november mail is yours! link in bio. by @taialeituala
At L&SD in Greenpoint. An evening in 3 parts: group movement instruction, followed by a DJ set & deep listening: 7:30 doors 8:00 instruction with Taia Leituala 8:30 dance set, into deep listening with dominique Taia Leituala is a transdisciplinary artist and designer who loooves putting tendrils out into multiple directions to see how they transmute over time. They’ve been dancing in New York over the past many, many years & have been shaped by all of these experiences & homies they’ve been able to share them with. Now they’re off to root in San Francisco with their heart stretching from the Atlantic to the Pacific inviting you to reflect on your own transitions & changes while processing them through movement. dominique is a performer & dj. you can find them playing around town or beyond, in a basement, a backyard, a warehouse, a camp in the woods, or even at L&SD. for this next dance practice, their set will aim to play with association, narrative & “breaking down the fourth wall”. curious to see what dancers will bring into the room from their everyday lives, & how much of that can be taken apart & made into something new, in real time, together. by @taialeituala

Introducing the decor team for our first stage dubbed "Tree Stage": @namaste_or_die , @coatshek , and @taialeituala ✨ We have seen them transform spaces we know and love time and time again. They are literally the backbone of every party they have been involved with. Its our personal belief that iconic party cannot exist without thoughtful decor. Couldn't think of anyone better than these 3 legends to transform the trees around us at Everything in Color. Here are some eloquent words by these 3 wise divas: We had been walking thru the world, confused lost souls, seeing in sepia all our lives. Then we heard a siren calling from a Ponderosa pine forest far away… saying Sutroo Sutroo… then boom. Suddenly, everything was in color! We got to work immediately; put our least favorite clothing on, popped an Allagash, and began throwing colors like there was no tomorrow. No one could stop us. Kate sprinkling powdered dyes with a looseness in her fingertips and an intensity in her eyes. Taia bouncing around the tapestry adding a splash of color here and a drizzle there. Sheki climbing new heights to suspend fabrics in the air as water dripped from top to bottom. Six hands became one chaotic meteor shower. Thus was born Meteor Message… You’ll just have to come to “Tree Stage” to understand! by @taialeituala
EDIT: CORNER OF SHAEFER AND WYCOFF!! EDIT EDIT: damn moving chaos is crazzzzy even got the year wrong lol 2026 obvi Moving sale!!! Everything must go Saturday, June 20, 2026 12-4pm at the corner of Shaefer and Wilson in Bushwick I quickly shoved everything in a storage unit before I started traveling not knowing what things would look like when I came back. Funny tho because a lot of my closest friends knew I’d be moving before I did lolll. Looking forward to rooting in the Bay while also feeling that a piece of my heart will always be dancing here in New York too <33 Notable items - Full size bed with temperpedic topper - Entire kitchen set (ideally would be scooped as one full set, take everything) - Fancy juicer - Stocked setup for screenprinting (4 screens, inks, papers, emulsion scoop, diy rig) - A rug tufting gun with a custom made 6x6 frame. Can construct for you and give lessons if interested (did anyone else dive into a handful of random hobbies during the pandemic and never touch them again? lol) - Two amps - Electronic guitar, midi controller - iMac 2015 (recently upgraded storage) Prices are reasonable! Just need to get rid of everything. Roll up with a car and see how much you can fit inside Share with anyone you think might be interested plzzz~ Face for algooo by @taialeituala

yesterday marked four months of tendrils ~ this past month of visual experiments leaned more towards processing the feeling of adapting to changing environments, digging through old memories to archive them, and getting ready to move from new york to the bay area. lots in motion ❣️❣️❣️ by @taialeituala
🌬️three months of tendrils a space to express, experiment, play, document, to have something consistent that grounds me when everything else is moving 🌺 all 107 pieces available to view on my website❣️ by @taialeituala

two months of tendrils ~ taking a lil pause til the 22 for a meditation course and then more experiments to come <33 all pieces available to view on my website :)) by @taialeituala
recent pieces from this art experiment i’m working on called Tendrils ~ updating daily on my website (except for the one day i had food poisoning blerg lol) a month in the works now. feels like a long term project in its infancy. sometimes a bit messy and rushed, other times slow, a space to be my own sort of wild. letting things change in their own time while i’m considering all pieces a work in progress 🌬️💚💚💚🌱 by @taialeituala
