BALTIMORE, Md. — Student leadership at Coppin State University is defined by academic rigor, purposeful service, and a steadfast commitment to uplifting the campus community. Taisha Saint Simon, a Criminal Justice major with a concentration in Forensic Investigations, leads with distinction as Miss Senior for the 2026–2027 academic year.

Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, and raised in Prince George’s County, Maryland, Saint Simon represents the power of global heritage and local excellence. At Coppin State, she is a full-ride scholarship recipient and a distinguished Fanny Jackson Scholar in the Leadership Excellence Track. Beyond her academic standings, she serves as a Peer Mentor for the freshman Class of 2030 and previously served as a Digital Navigator, assisting students with technological resources and campus integration.

Operating under her platform, “Leaving No Senior Behind,” Saint Simon is dedicated to ensuring that every graduating senior has seamless access to the resources, mentorship, and career pathways needed for post-graduation success. Following completion of her undergraduate degree, she plans to pursue graduate studies in Digital Forensics and Cybersecurity to investigate cybercrime, analyze digital evidence, and pioneer mentorship pathways for future scholars.

“My platform is a commitment to ensuring that every senior has access to the resources, guidance, and opportunities needed to successfully transition into life after graduation. I believe every student deserves the opportunity to pursue their goals and take confidence in their individual paths.” — Taisha Saint Simon
