Analog art is pure and simple—hands-on, handcrafted, and built to last. There’s no app for skill, no shortcut for creativity. It’s just you, your tools, and the process. That’s what makes handcrafted work stand out—it’s real, and it’s yours.

In this video, you will see my hands working on a chainstitch monogram project. The feel of what im doing is something you must experience.

P.S. @tailord.cheeks did his big one on this varsity!! by @tailord.cheeks

A little tennis, plus New York, add some new friends and a lot of chainstitch. That’s Public Court Tennis Club.

And honestly, that’s kinda the whole point.

You go outside, do what you love, meet people you probably wouldn’t have met otherwise and somehow build a little community along the way.

Made with @lacoste + @extrabutter.

8.29 🎾🐊 by @tailord.cheeks

The court has always been more than a court.

It’s where people meet, play, watch, talk, learn the game and spend the day. No membership needed.

That energy became the inspiration behind Public Court Tennis Club — my project with @lacoste and @extrabutter.

A little tennis. A little New York. A lot of hand-cranked chainstitch.

See you 8.29. 🎾🐊

Been working on something fun with @lacoste + @extrabutter. Just in time for tennis season!

For this project, I got to build out a little world around tennis in New York through custom graphics and hand-cranked chainstitch.

That idea became “Public Court Tennis Club”.

I’ll be at Extra Butter LIC this Saturday August 29, 1–6PM for the launch, doing live customization and hanging out.

Come through, check out the collection and get something stitched. 🎾🐊 by @tailord.cheeks

What does it take to get to Montauk by sunrise?
A 1am alarm…

A few hours of stitching with @mackweldon and @jacksstirbrew , a lighthouse visit, some family time, a secret seafood spot, a 9-pound lobster, and enough rain to last the rest of the week.

10/10 day.

Two years ago this idea started living in my head.
Today it finally exists.

I sourced a dozen vintage cotton twill snapbacks back in December 2024. What started as blanks now live under the @rikwahytstudio label. Every patch selected, arranged, and sewn down one at a time, then finished with signature chainstitch embroidery by @tattood.cloth.

12 caps.
12 originals.
No repeats.

Once they leave my table, they won’t exist again.

Made for collectors.
Made for people who refuse to dress like everyone else.

Available Saturday, March 14

“Organic Thug” Roses
Jacket No. 2

A piece inspired by Outkast’s song “Roses” from their 2003 album Speakerboxxx/ The Love Below.

Made exclusively for the homie @krjones_. Thanks for continuing to trust my craft.

Hand-cranked in Brooklyn. One stitch at a time.
Presence over perfection.

New city. Same energy.

Last night was my third pop-up embroidery event with Malin and Jules of @flatmates.sthlm. I met @malinandjules during my Summer ’25 residency in Sweden where they invited me to be a part of their Pride events in Stockholm and Copenhagen — and now their first NYC event! Reconnecting like that felt real. Different country. Same alignment. Same care around community.

As a man, being invited into lesbian-centered spaces isn’t something I take lightly. The way people showed up for each other… hyping one another up, helping choose placements, standing close while I stitched — it felt held.

People were literally taking their clothes off to get stitched. Shirts. Jackets. Leather. Whatever they had on. If it fit under the needle, it was coming off and going on the machine.

I stitched a lot last night. Names. Symbols. Pieces that meant something personal. Watching someone get their item back and light up with pride — that part stays with me.

Special shout out to @ligawnyc for hosting and showing nothing but hospitality. And yes… the drinks were serious. Get the Soft Butch. Or ask the bartenders to go off menu.

Thank to my road dawgs @theartist_millz , @toni_the_tiger86 @studiopadmore for being a part of my community.

Brooklyn machine. Global community.Presence over perfection.
