This whisky is older than the two men who created it.

We worked alongside @hirundineatg to bring this release to life. Created by Scotland and British & Irish Lions stars @pierraschoemies and @duhanvandermerwe, two South African-born props who turned a conversation over coffee into one of Scotland's most exciting new whisky brands.

A 38-year-old Speyside single malt, double matured in ex-bourbon and sherry casks with a First Fill PX Octave finish. Laid down in 1987, the year of the very first Rugby World Cup.

From concept to finished product, we helped shape every detail of how this liquid would be presented to the world. A heavy, high-clarity crystal decanter with hand-engraved gold infill detailing. A brass stopper, engraved on every surface and finished to a mirror shine.

Only 15 bottles were ever made. One for every player in a rugby XV.

Fruitcake, dark spice, chocolate. Vintage mahogany in a glass. Structured, opulent, and truly unique.

This is the kind of project we live for.

Bringing Scotland to Versailles. On May 23rd, Tailored Spirits Co. have been invited to The 2026 Royal Versailles Ball to host a curated private Scotch Whisky tasting.

The Ball raises proceeds for some wonderful charities, including @roomtoread @kingsfoundation @la_ffbs and Tailored Spirits has contributed an exceptional charity auction prize in support of these brilliant charities.

A spectacular white tie event, paying homage to Napoléon III’s original Ball of 1855, in which Queen Victoria attended as the guest of honour.

Bringing together an illustrious invited guest list from around the world, for an unforgettable night of fine French food and wine, music and reeling.

We look forward to sharing great whisky and Scottish hospitality with all attending. Slaintè.
