📌 SAVE for future planning 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 10 day ultimate Scotland road trip! If you have only 10 days to travel Scotland but you want to see EVERYTHING! Then here is our road trip we did to try and see everything 😂 Day 1 - Rosslyn and Edinburgh (mainly a travel day but don’t miss out on Rosslyn Chapel and Castle Day 2 - Edinburgh & West Wemyss Make the most of a day in Edinburgh then head up the coast. We stayed at West Wemyss which is a perfect location to see seals! Day 3 - Fife Coast & Dunnottar Castle Explore the coast and head up to the castle for the evening (or if you want to explore the castle head up earlier) we also visited Crawford priory in this area Day 4 - Balmoral Cairns & Craigievar Castle Head to Balmoral first thing to see the pyramid (can also visit balmoral castle) Day 5 - Findlater Castle & Bow Fiddle Rock Head up along the Moray coast. Both of these are free places to visit. Also beaches up this way with seals Day 6 - Dunrobins Castle & John o Groats Head all the way to the top! Don’t miss out on this incredible castle that’s such a good price. Day 7 - Loch Ness & Invermoriston Falls Head back down through the middle and visit the famous loch Day 8 - Eilean Donan Castle & Isle of Skye Focusing more on the west. There’s a great campsite called Glenbrittle to stay and explore Skye Day 9 - Isle of Skye Fairy Pools & Glenfinnan Viaduct Head to the fairy pools first thing to get a parking space. Then start slowly making your way back down, stopping at Glenfinnan, fort Williams and Ben Nevis if you want to. Head to Loch Lomond for somewhere to stay over night driving through the incredible Glen Coe Day 10 - Loch Lomond & Gretna Green before heading home! Love exploring castles and ruins? Then you need to add this one to your list! 📌 SAVE for later! These castle ruins are not only based on top of a hill, making it look pretty iconic, but they also hide a cave below it! To visit the cave you will need to visit the ruins (£6.50 entry) and head to the far wall. Here you will find a sign that points you down to some very very steep steps (please be careful when climbing up/down) keep going down and you will get to the cave, which goes on for longer than we expected! *AD 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 🐶 How to: road trip Carmarthenshire for a dog friendly long weekend! 📌 SAVE for the itinerary& share with someone you want to go on a road trip with! Fancy a long dog friendly weekend exploring Wales? we’ve got you covered! Copy our itinerary below! 🌆 Arrive on Thursday 🏠 we stayed at York Lodge by @greatwelshescapes and the views were pretty spectacular! 🐟 Spend the evening watching the sunset whilst eating fish and chips 〰️ Friday 〰️ 🪴 First thing, head to @walesbotanic for their dog friendly day and roam around their beautiful gardens. *Dog friendly days are Mondays, Fridays and every first weekend of the month! 💰 £19 per person 🥪 Lunch Head to Llandeilo for a range of cafes filled with local produce. We ate at Diod. For pudding, head over to @heavenly_exquisite_desserts. Here you have a range of chocolate treats including delicious brownies and ice cream! 🏰 For the afternoon head to Carreg Cennen Castle. Don’t miss out on exploring the cave under the castle. 💰 £6.50 per person 🍽️ before finishing the day, head to @dextersatbrowns for dinner! Steak for meat eaters and cauliflower steak for veggies! 〰️ Saturday 〰️ Head to Carmarthen and roam around the shops, finishing with some lovely lunch for you and your dog at @baileysdogcafe.
