Premium dog walking in Boston's South End. Helping clients realize the benefits that pet companionship can provide. Founded in 2008

Mulligan was a dog that lived with the ferocity of a pup 20 times his size. I started walking Mulligan in March 2014 as a puppy. He was the cutest white French bulldog with a distinctive black heart shaped mark over his right eye. I was smitten. Many people commented about Mulligan while we were out. Once a passerby witnessing his heart shaped “tat” proclaimed, loudly, “Yo! That dog has seen some things.” I followed Mulligan as he walked his way proudly through the South End with his fellow dog walking companions. No matter how I was feeling or the weather, my day was better when Mulligan was on the other end of the leash. While I knew Mulligan loved me, It was never a mystery that his Mom and Dad were his world. It was so heartwarming to witness. My heart breaks for them and all who knew Mulligan. He will be so very missed. by @tailsofboston

Rippy got here yesterday for his holiday boarding. He went for a hike this morning, but is now tucked in tightly as it begins to rain and I start to read a copy of The Other Family Doctor: A Veterinarian Explores What Animals Can Teach Us About Love Life and Mortality that I came across in the Friends of the South End Library little lending library this week. I love the perspective this book offers having worked with dogs for 15 years now. Thank you Dr. Fine 🙏

I have been blessed to work for some of the most amazing clients in the South End over the last almost 15 years. Sitting here drinking out of my favorite mug, I will always remember Bella. Bella passed away in September. I know…I just couldn’t post about it till now…it hit me like a ton of bricks. She led an amazing long life and had the best parents a pup could ever ask for. They are kind, caring, compassionate, hip and they loved Bella through and through. Tiny pups like Bella are often picked up and carried around like accessories to their humans. Bella wouldn’t stand for it. As she got older she tolerated it, but she was a dog and demanded that you respect that above all. I marveled at her ability to scramble up rock faces on a hike in the Middlesex Fells and her tennis ball fetch was legend. Her love of tennis balls was so much that her Mom was forced to hide them in the refrigerator so Bella would leave it, their scent on a countertop would taunt her that much. The biggest thing about Bella was her heart and I am so very lucky I got to witness that for many many years. #thebiggestheart by @tailsofboston
