Champion d’Europe K-1, Tai Terada est un combattant et entraîneur spécialisé dans le Kickboxing japonais moderne. Frère de Takumi Terada, il évolue au plus près de cette nouvelle génération de combattants japonais qui renouvelle aujourd’hui les codes du striking.

Fondateur de Maji Art of Fight, il transmet une approche directement nourrie par les méthodes japonaises actuelles : précision technique, pression offensive, déplacements, kicks dynamiques, combinaisons et créativité tactique.

À travers ses stages, Tai rend ces principes accessibles et applicables, avec un système qui peut naturellement enrichir la pratique du Kickboxing, du Muay Thaï et du MMA.

Holding pads isn’t about feeding easy punches and kicks. It’s about building attacks that your opponent doesn’t want to deal with.

If it feels uncomfortable for you to face, it will be uncomfortable for your opponent too. Train it on the pads, execute it in the fight

Don’t just hit pads. Build weapons for the fight by @taiterada

I have just got back to the UK after spending the past few days in Holland visiting the outstanding @themaji_official gym in Eindhoven 🥋🔥👀

Whilst there I had the absolute pleasure of spending time with and filming the truly phenomenal duo of Maji Gym founder/head coach @taiterada and K-1 world champion @takumiterada_1!!

We smashed out two more brilliant full length instructionals to add to Tai’s ever growing Japanese Kickboxing series on the Warrior Collective 🔥🥋👀

Here, in this clip I stole at the end of filming, they go over details on a Japanese Kickboxing drill that focuses on using distractions and off-balances to set up opponents for the high kick 🔥🔥

I can’t wait to get these two new volumes up on the site!! Cyprus seminar 🇨🇾

I received so much love, respect, and warm energy from everyone during this seminar.

More than anything, this experience reminded me that the spirit of Japanese martial arts, respect, humility, kindness, and consideration for others can connect people beyond countries, languages, and cultures.

It was truly an amazing seminar, and I am deeply honored that the Mayor came to visit us. I was also very grateful to receive such a meaningful gift from the WKU Kickboxing organization.

A special thank you to my friend Antoniou @antreas_martialarts for creating this opportunity, for the incredible hospitality, and for taking such great care of us throughout our time in Cyprus.

I hope to see you all again very soon in Cyprus.

Seminar in Alicante🇪🇸
In the seminar we shared not only Japanese techniques but also the mindset behind Japanese training the joy of learning discipline respect caring for each other and growing together.

Martial arts may be an individual sport but real improvement happens when everyone pushes and supports each other 🔥
