There’s fall… and then there’s larch season in the Rockies. 🍂🏔️

Arnica Lake absolutely shows off this time of year. Golden larches, crisp mountain air, turquoise water and a trail that somehow gets better around every corner.

The larches don’t stay golden for long, which is part of what makes this little window in the Rockies so special.

If seeing the mountains turn gold is on your fall bucket list, this is your sign.

We’ve watched the sun come up over Moraine Lake a lot this season… and somehow, it never looks the same twice. 🌅🏔️

Clear skies, moody clouds, alpenglow, glassy water and mornings where the Ten Peaks slowly appear out of the darkness.

There’s something pretty special about being here before the day really begins.

There’s sunrise… and then there’s alpenglow at Moraine Lake. 🏔️🌅

Wildlife doesn’t exactly work around our schedule… but we know a few of their favourite hangouts 🐻🫎

Join us for an evening wildlife tour through the Bow Valley as we head to areas where elk, bears, bighorn sheep, deer and other local wildlife are known to frequent.

Of course, these guys are wild, so there are never any guarantees on what we’ll see. But we know where to look, when to look, and we’ll do our best to give you the best chance of spotting some of the locals.

Even if the wildlife decides to ghost us, an evening exploring the Rockies is never a bad way to spend a few hours. 🏔️

Alpine glow on Moraine Lake 🌄

There’s a small window in the morning when the peaks light up, the lake is still, and everything just looks a little unreal.

Worth the early alarm? We think so.
