Today I had the opportunity to spend time with an amazing group of young ladies at the detention center.

I didn’t show up as Taj the Founder, Entrepreneur, blah blah blah but simply as a woman who hasn’t always had it together. I shared my story, listened to theirs, helped with their activities, and prayed that something I said reminds at least one of them that their story isn’t over. by @tajmcgill

My Daddy wasn’t afforded an opportunity to receive a formal education. Don’t get it twisted… he was wise, respected, hard working, learned a trade and owned a construction company that fed his family. He became one of the best!

The smile on his face when dropping one of his kids off to college and the pride in his voice when speaking of his children and/ or grandchildren was so special. He would tell us as long as we stayed in school and received a degree that we could get anything from him. I totally took advantage of that lol.

I am thankful that missed opportunity STOPPED with him!

I am proud to announce that both of my daughters have earned Bachelor’s Degrees. I promised my mother on her death bed that I would be sure that they did.

Jai, you’ve made me proud my love. I can’t wait to witness your brilliance grace the world. You’ll make your mark and I’ll be there to cheer you on every step of the way. Go get ‘em Babygirl🎓 taken in Tallahassee, Florida by @tajmcgill

Today, we proudly celebrate a visionary, a leader, fashion guru, and a true force in education and entrepreneurship—Taj McGill.

For over 15 years, Taj McGill has been a fashion pillar in South Florida; creating pathways, opening doors, and setting the standard for aspiring creatives and industry professionals. Her influence extends far beyond the classroom, shaping careers, building confidence, and redefining what’s possible for the next generation.

What began as a bold vision has grown into a transformative movement, impacting the lives of students and families across our community. Through her leadership, dedication, and unwavering commitment to excellence, she has created spaces where creativity meets academics and where future leaders are developed with intention.

This recognition is not just about a name…it represents years of sacrifice, consistency, and purpose-driven work that continues to leave a lasting mark on South Florida and beyond.

Today was nothing short of transformational. From the moment we arrived at the @grantcardonefoundation , the level of hospitality, professionalism, and intention behind every detail was truly exceptional.

As a school that prioritizes both academic excellence and business education, this experience aligned perfectly with our curriculum and mission. Our students were not only exposed to real, applicable business strategies, but they were also challenged to think bigger, move with purpose, and execute at a higher level in both life and entrepreneurship.

One of the most impactful moments was the opportunity to meet Grant Cardone himself—an experience our students and team will never forget. The resources provided, including books and tools, have already begun shaping the way our students approach their goals and future careers.

This was more than a field trip, it was a mindset shift. The lessons learned and the energy experienced will forever be engraved in the hearts and minds of our students and staff.

We are beyond grateful and proud to say we will continue to live, lead, and operate the 10X way.

And yes… our Interactive Float was REAL LIFE.

This isn’t play-play. This is preparation meeting performance.

In honor of Literacy Week, I was honored to share my books with our amazing @innovativeheightsprep and @southfloridafashionacademy scholars 📚

We talked about the many ways coloring and activity books support fine motor skills, imagination, creativity, and early literacy. Learning looks even better when it’s hands-on and fun!
