Bali, always a good idea ✈️

7 day itinerary in Canggu and Uluwatu

Moved around a bit and did 3 nights in Canggu’s @holidayinnbalicanggu resort. Right in the thick of it all, close by to amazing massage spots, cafes and the famous Mexicola.

1 week itinerary in Zanzibar, Tanzania 🇹🇿

🏨 Stay

Can’t really say I enjoyed either of the hotels we stayed in. Both had amazing reviews but just didn’t quite make the mark.

Location wise however, Nungwi and Kendwa are recommended for first timers to Zanzibar. We stayed in Nungwi and moved between 2 hotels, one which had its own private beach which was super clear and blue! And the other in main town Nungwi which made it super easy to get around. I’d probably have split my time between Paje and Nungwi if I had a redo. Paje is meant to be more authentic and local.

3 day itinerary in Okavango Delta, Botswana 🇧🇼

✈️ Fly: @mackairbw took us from Kasane International Airport near Chobe National Park to Moremi Game Reserve in the Okavango Delta. You can drive but given the large waterways it’s easier to hop across on a charter flight. The views are absolutely breathtaking from above as you see little dots of animals and the many waterways of the delta.

🏕️ Stay: @andbeyondnxabega voted Botswana’s Leading Tented Safari Camp several times at the World Travel Awards (WTA) and recognized in Condé Nast Traveller’s Readers’ Choice Awards as a top African resort.

Situated in a private concession on the edge of the Okavango Delta, bordering the Moremi Game Reserve, offering exceptional wildlife viewing. All Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, rhino) live here, with rhinos successfully reintroduced to Chief’s Island.

Their hospitality, understated luxuries and attention to detail was absolutely incredible.

Land safaris by jeep 🚙
Night time safaris by jeep 🚙
Walking safaris by foot 🦶🏽

📆 Visit:

May to September (dry season) for peak wildlife viewing as animals gather at water sources. Perfect for water safaris which is unique to Botswana.

November-April (green season) is ideal, though hotter with more rain. For fishing, August to October (barbel run) is prime time.

🏨 Stay: @mpalajena_zambezi an incredible all inclusive tented camp 30km north of Victoria Falls. Bringing the white sand beach vibes to the bush! 🏝️ The people, the place, the magic of the mighty Zambezi river, and the grunting of their resident hippo, William just added to the place. Definitely felt like home away from home. Part of the @greatplainsconservation family 🦒
