@aydanjennings getting some air time in our black core cap available now on the site by @taku.archives
hats available now on site. high noon in joshua tree. two men, two hats, one desert, two pairs of flip flops. we took taku out to joshua tree for a brand trip and somehow ended up filming a western standoff at golden hour. boulders, joshua trees, wind, a long stare across the rocks. very serious. extremely cinematic. both of them in flip-flops. @zionsincere in the black core cap. @jackburk.e in the navy heritage hat. the heritage hat comes from my grandfather. he radioed into town from our family cabin on tagish lake in northern british columbia, and his call sign was “taku bob.” my grandma embroidered TAKU on a hat for him and he never took it off. this is that hat, made again. washed navy cotton twill, 5-panel snapback, raised white embroidery, green underbrim. the core cap is the everyday one. black cotton twill, blackletter TAKU, made for early surfs, late skates, and desert standoffs you can’t run from because you wore sandals. heritage & core hats, available now. made to order in a small run. link in bio. models: @zionsincere & @jackburk.e filmed & edited by jake shockley designed in venice, ca. #joshuatree #cinematic #clothingbrand #5panelhat #takuarchives by @taku.archives
