EN ✨ The Sona (singular: lusona) of the Cokwe people are far more than just drawings — they are an ancient writing system made of lines and dots, rich in history and wisdom. 🌀 Each design represents proverbs, fables, games, riddles, and animals, serving as a beautiful way to pass knowledge from one generation to the next. ✍🏾 The drawings must be made smoothly and continuously, as any pause is seen as a sign of imperfection or lack of mastery. 💫 Sona is more than art — it’s heritage, it’s identity! That’s why we chose these ancestral symbols to decorate our packaging. 🖤 When you purchase our product, you’re taking home not only quality, but also a piece of our art and culture. 👉🏾 Click the link in our bio and bring our culture home! 📸 The image below shows a tobe grid and the final design representing friendship. The Sona on our packaging celebrates friendship — connecting our brand to Angolan roots and sharing the richness of our culture with you. Novas conversas. Novas perspectivas. Novas possibilidades! EN: Great opportunities begin with meaningful connections! EN: What if your business could reach the world? On the second day of the visit to the Netherlands, our Business Leader visited the *Port of Rotterdam*, one of Europe's largest ports, to explore its operations and discover how entrepreneurs can benefit from logistics and international trade. Market access, logistical efficiency, and business connections can open new doors for companies looking to expand beyond borders. For our dried fruit project, this experience reinforces an essential question: how can we turn a local product into an international opportunity? The world is connected. The challenge is preparing our business to reach it! / What is the biggest challenge for an Angolan product entering international markets? #OrangeCorners #Entrepreneurship #PortOfRotterdam #Angola #GlobalMarkets #DriedFruit by @talama.soba
EN: What makes an investor believe in a business? 👀💡 On the first day of our Business Leader's visit to the Netherlands, as part of Orange Corners (OCA) International, one key question took centre stage: what do investors look for in entrepreneurs? Vision, execution, sustainability, and impact are essential to turning great ideas into promising businesses. For us, this experience reinforces our mission to turn fruit into opportunities, reduce food waste, and add value to local resources. Learning to grow. Growing to make a difference! If you were an investor, what would matter most: innovation, profitability, or social and environmental impact? #OrangeCorners #Entrepreneurship #Angola #SustainableBusiness #FoodWasteReduction by @talama.soba

Meet the OC NL Discovery Mission Participants 🌍 This October, we're excited to host the very first OC NL Discovery Mission, together with HEINEKEN. 11 outstanding entrepreneurs from across our Orange Corners network will travel to the Netherlands to explore the Dutch entrepreneurial ecosystem and discover new business opportunities. Over the coming weeks, we'll be introducing each of these entrepreneurs. First up: Elisa Capololo from Angola. Through Talama & Soba, Elisa transforms surplus and seasonal fruit into natural dried fruit products, preserving their nutritional value and authentic flavour without additives. By reducing food waste and creating healthy, long-lasting snacks, Talama & Soba supports local farmers, promotes sustainable agriculture and makes nutritious food more accessible. During the mission, Elisa is looking to deepen her knowledge of Dutch and European best practices in food safety, packaging, quality management and export requirements for dried fruits. She's particularly interested in connecting with organisations and companies working in: • Innovative food packaging and value-added fruit products • Dried fruit production and processing • Import and distribution of dried fruits in Europe • Food safety, quality assurance and European export regulations Do you know someone Elisa should meet? Or would you be interested in connecting with her yourself? Feel free to reach out to us or connect with Elisa directly. We'd love to hear from you! #OCNLDiscoveryMission #Netherlands #Angola #Entrepreneurship FoodInnovation by @talama.soba
-------------------------------------- EN Episode 2 - Beginning of the Journey: After the first home tests, we realized it was time to take the next step: testing different fruits with a food dehydrator. The problem? Finding one of these machines in Angola proved to be a huge challenge at the time. After much searching, we found one on the international market. And that's when everything changed! The tests were a success and marked the beginning of building our great objective: transforming Angolan fruits into healthy, high-quality snacks. #dryfruıts #angola #frutassecas #healthyfoodlover by @talama.soba
