It’s been on our minds for a while to start a podcast series. And now, it’s finally time.

Tale of Bus Cast #1 — with Idilay

Alyssa first started showing up at the ToB doorstep shortly after we opened our space in June 2025. It didn’t take long before she became an integral part of our tight-knit community.

After countless visits to the shop and helping out during our events, she caught the bug. Slowly but surely, she started collecting records more seriously. Not rushing the process, as she wanted to spend time with and give attention to the records she acquired.

We noticed an undeniable talent and a great ear for putting records together — creating a flow, putting her feelings in it and creating a story. Her versatility is her strength and her open personality is why you want to be where she is.

For the first Tale of Bus Cast, she put together a mix which reflects her current state of being.

This is the first of many.

Allow yourself the time, take the slow lane, and enjoy this almost three-hour journey into new adventures.

Welcome to Tale of Bus Cast.

Winter is coming, but not just yet 🌴

We are extending our Tobana season with a special session this Friday.

Inviting back 2 jocks that have graced our decks with greatness and amazeness. That’s not a word, but inside our own house there is room to wing it (and swing it).

Food will be arranged with love by The Jamaican Eight. Our resident caterer that set the highest standard in food with flavour and vibes.

To keep things extra cozy, there will be board and card games to enjoy. Feel free to bring your own favourites along.

Tobana continues..
Step into the Westpoort oasis and join the dance ♥️

Tobana — summer closing 🌴
One last one for summer before we make a comeback with our winter editions.

We’re turning the record store into our little oasis so we can gather and spend a Friday together before summer slips away.

Our good friends from Omato are joining us from Berlin, taking us from downtempo into all corners of dance music. Plus, Idilay on deck, always bringing those musical surprises.

Food by The Jamaican Eight 🇯🇲

Come start the weekend right and sing out the summer with us.

See you Friday ♥️

ToB returns to Doka for a special end-of-summer jam.

Touching down in our second home: the Doka Dojo, our favourite sound basement in Amsterdam.
A place where we’ve spent countless hours on the dance floor, diving deep into all kinds of sonic treats.

For this one, we finally welcome Madrid-born DJ and producer Sugar Free. She never played for us before, but sat at the very top of our wishlist for a long time.

A solid four-point Danley sound system will carry us through the night.

Daan Donk sets the tone before handing over to Sugar Free.

Join us this end of summer night for some musical exploration, with a little extra sugar on top.

Early birds are already sold out. Remaining tickets via the link in bio.

See you on the 18th💚 by @taleofbus

More Tobana evenings are coming in August, but first...

Afters incoming 🌅

Every now and then, we like to stretch the weekend a little further. Next Sunday felt made for it: an intimate after-hours gathering in our home space.

For this one, we’re welcoming Kuba ‘97 from Belgium - one of the standout names from Waking Life. Someone we have on our rader for a while now. His sound is built for deep, late-night sessions on the dancefloor. Joining us behind the wheels are ToB familiars Idilay and Daan Donk.

Come through to the garage next Sunday and shake off the weekend with us.

A handful of presale tickets is available now. Community tickets are already sold out and capacity is limited.

See you in the garage.

Tickets in the usual spot.

PS. Adding extra Kikuno speakers for the enhanced dance floor experience we strive for again and again ❤️ by @taleofbus
