When you’re stuck in life, your brain may keep demanding more certainty before allowing you to make a decision. So you research more. Think more. Ask more people. Wait for the “right” feeling.

But certainty doesn’t necessarily increase with more thinking. You don’t always need to know what the right path is. You sometimes need enough clarity to take the next step.

When you don’t know your next step, don’t ask ‘What should I do with my life?’ Ask ‘What can I do in the next 10 minutes that will teach me something?

Most people think the brain goes to sleep when you stop working. Science says the exact opposite: there’s a part of your brain called the Default Mode Network that ONLY turns on when you take a pause.

It’s the brain’s background system that processes deep emotions, connects old thoughts to new ideas, and solves problems you couldn’t figure out while stressing.
When you burn out, it’s usually because you’ve forced your brain to stay on “active mode” for way too long without letting this background system do its job.
I spent years running non-stop, thinking that stopping meant giving up. Now I realize a pause isn’t quitting—it’s giving my brain the space it needs to reset and rebuild.

My dearest,

Anywhere with you, is everywhere i want to be.

But in this process, i have lost myself.

I sometimes wonder, is there a written rule book? That tells you how to be- all the right things to say or act.

My dearest, slowly i am withering- that everyone long to belong somewhere, due to which they sometimes paint colour outside the box leading them to forget selflove.

Even with nature, a flower deprived of sun, longing to belong somewhere or someone. So, who am i to agonize on being alone.
