Seriously could not have asked for better Xaden casting. 🥰 #fourthwing #romantasy by @talewielder

Starting the back half of the Crescent City 2 graphic audio again (at 1.5x). I don't think about this series at all when I'm not reading it, so at this point I'm just reading for the crossover/lore. #romantasy #justread #maasverse by @talewielder

This book was average all around. I enjoyed it, but it wasn't the mandatory detour that I wanted after Zodiac Academy 3. There is some okay spice but no emotional involvement, and the murder mystery framing is not my jam. I will read them all in service to the Zodiac Academy story, but so far I don't like any of the MMCs and I miss Lance. #romantasy #zodiacademy #justread by @talewielder

This is not an ad for Chirp. This is just a heads up because the All Souls audiobooks are some of the best out there. I relisten to them every year. #justread #romantasy by @talewielder

I could not have asked for a better novella in Fourth Wing. We get to know everyone better while being fed easter eggs with a firehouse. Asher and Garrick are my new favorite MMCs. There is no spice and no romance between human mates, but surprisingly the bonding process with the dragons is so beautiful that it is a stand-in for romance. I was sobbing about every single one of them being chosen, like a new romance every chapter. #justread #bookreview #fourthwing #romantasy by @talewielder

This book was so repetitive that I was just rolling my eyes by 2/3rds of the way through, and I felt like I wasn't really getting to know either the FMC or the MMC. There is no chemistry. I am glad that I read the #2.5 novella because it gave backstory on the religion that makes this story richer, but ultimately this story doesn't feel like Misha and doesn't really grab you. I really only enjoyed the last 15% of this book, and I listened to the middle half at 1.75x, which I only do when I'm bored to tears. It's no 3x for Queen Malina chapters, but it was close. #justread #romantasy #crownsofnyaxia #bookreview by @talewielder

Who would have guessed that these dragon bonds are the greatest love stories ever told? I am sobbing, again, at one of our favorite characters being chosen for life with such certainty. Reading about a new soulmate ever chapter is very, very overwhelming. 🥹 #romantasy #fourthwing #justread #loveislove by @talewielder

Actual oil painting of me the moment Garrick starting speaking in the Threshing Day audiobook. They are not playing fair with this casting. Of course Garrick is gonna be everyone's favorite MMC now. 🔥 #fourthwing #romantasy #justread by @talewielder

Not a great month for reading at all. Neither of these Nyaxia books resonated with me, so it was slow going. October is already looking up with Threshing Day, though. #justread #romantasy by @talewielder

Why am I crying? 😭 When the game launched, I thought, "Well, the only thing I know about Threshing Day is to stand my ground and break all the rules," and it worked...the second time. by @talewielder
