I paint stones as stories.
So memories can rest in the real world.

Ortagonio.

Autumn arrived in Gonio today,
The sun still shines, warming the fading daylight.
The velvet season calls the strangers to stay,
Where the waves still whisper soft and bright.
But the rain feels colder on my skin,
The days grow short, the nights begin,
And a silent sorrow crawls back in...
Into my heavy heart.

No hope to walk those familiar streets again,
My hometown bleeds beneath the distant sky.
I miss the sounds, the smell of rain back then,
Before the world was forced to say goodbye.
No warm heart near, no shoulder to lean on,
Faith, hope, and love—they’re all completely gone.

Ah-ah, Gonio winds blow cold...
Ah-ah, stories left untold...

Only green hills standing tall and deep,
Only the endless sea that knows my pain.
It guards every secret that I keep,
Washing my memories away like rain.
A quiet autumn wraps around my soul,
The past behind is a fading coal,
The path ahead—a void I cannot hold.

I stand between what was and what will be,
Just a ghost beside the Black Sea wave.
Gonio remembers what is left of me,
In this quiet autumn, silent and brave...
Just Gonio... and its green hills.
Just the sea that knows my grief.
Just a quiet autumn breeze.
Just my sadness... and the leaves.

Theme 11: Sunshine/Sun
I missed the summer challenges because life kept me busy. Now autumn is here, bringing cold winds, rain, and grey skies. So I decided to paint a small "sunshine pebble"- to bring back a piece of summer. Sometimes, when the sun disappears from the sky, we have to create our own.

I painted another small stone for Paul- @travel4paul .This quirky, sleepy owlet will soon be traveling somewhere—though I don’t know where yet. Surely, I'll tell you when we decide it.
