I held a Talkative Tasha giveaway at my school! ❤️

To celebrate Tasha’s big debut, I organized a school-wide raffle, giving five lucky students the chance to win a personally signed copy of my book!

As a teacher, it was especially meaningful to share this milestone with the school community that has been so supportive of my journey to becoming a published author.

Congrats to the five lucky winners! ❤️📖

🍎 A story made for the classroom.

When I first wrote Talkative Tasha 18 years ago, I imagined a story teachers could use to help young students understand the importance of listening and following classroom expectations.

Whether it’s the first week of school or a midyear reminder, my hope is that Tasha’s story gives teachers a fun way to start conversations about listening, learning, and making good choices. ❤️

A MUST-HAVE for your September classroom! 📖

@talkativetashabook is a story about a chatty little girl who loses her voice and learns an important lesson about taking a break from talking to truly listen.

I just KNOW your classroom has a Talkative Tasha, too! So grab this book and add it to your listen of favorite BTS read alouds!

🚌 Who would have thought?

I was so excited for my very first day of kindergarten and the beginning of my school journey.

Years later, that little boy would become a teacher, celebrate his 18th year in the classroom, and become a children’s book author.

As a kid, I loved picture books, but I never imagined that one day I’d have a picture book of my very own. 📚

Sometimes life has a pretty amazing way of coming full circle. ❤️

They’re Here! 📚 ❤️

After all these years, I finally get to say it - the finished copies of Talkative Tasha has arrived!

There is something pretty incredible about opening a box and seeing a story that I wrote so many years ago as a first year teacher staring back at me as a real, finished book.

October 13th is getting closer! ❤️
