When Pinterest isn’t enough, you head to the gallery, or in our case, an art festival. 🍒@cherryarts festival was a breath of fresh air when it came to finding inspiration. A lot of the artists are from around the country so it was refreshing to see the new talent emerge. These artists are living with the quiet hums of nature in places like Taos and they are also finding their voice in the energetic buzz of places like San Diego. Seeing the how artists interact with the world, and how they see the world was one of the best experiences. One of my favorites was the chubby beignet baby by @kurimayai and conversations with @annieandersonart encouraged me to lean into my inner child’s desires that day. When I was counting my steps at the end reflecting on what I saw and who I met, I was inspired to head to the second hand art store and pick up supplies for a collage again. by @talkbackmedia
