I wanted to show you how Memento Mutari & Larynx are worn, how simple it is to put them on despite their look !

Kinda mysterious on their own, they magically "make sense" once they are worn. That confusion created by the contrast between our habits toward jewelry & a weird design makes me especially satisfied with my own work & practice !

☁️ I made a teenytiny pocket for the sweet @maggies.planet birthday, a little handful of frosted rainbows. 🌨
I took inspiration from her whimsical universe, obviously, combined it with this technique I wanted to try and a few beads later, voilà ! ♡

I used silk threads from @auverasoie_officiel
I highly recommend the place !

Il était temps que je vous montre ! J'ai eu la joie d'exposer une sélection de mes travaux lors de la 1ère édition de Wonder Science, intitulée "La Lumière: aux origines de l'Univers et de la Vie" !

🌟 Wonder Science, c'est un cycle de conférences créé par l'unique la merveilleuse vulgarisatrice scientifique @maggies.planet ! Vraiment allez suivre son compte, un bonheur des yeux, de l'esprit et du cœur.

☄ Nous avons eu la chance d'assister à une conférence animée par l'astrophysicien @davidelbaz.astrophysicien
et le photobiologiste Olivier Vallon ! (On a même eu un nudibranche en guest star)

Incroyable de voir se rencontrer la science et l'esthétique Y2K ! Le marché créateur si mignon de @akindo.club, la voix de @elleenete nous ont plongé dans leur univers coloré, honnêtement cette soirée avait quelque chose de magique.

Je suis tellement reconnaissante pour ce moment précieux, merci au @sapiens.cafe.paris d'avoir accueilli cette énergie de dingue, à vous d'être venus si nombreux.ses !!

Et @maggies.planet, @pulse_artscience petits anges holographiques arrivés comme par magie dans ma vie 💖 mais bon, je les attendais depuis un moment déjà je crois 👉🏻👈🏻
Merci spécial à @merci.cecile, @justinegarric et @jeanne_dnry pour le soutien de ma grande carcasse stressée mdr, et d'avoir été de si mimi modèles 💅🏻

👁👄👁 I was daydreaming at the beach the other day. I noticed a little group of shells, and stopped to examine their cuteness. I had a big goosebump when I noticed a little bubble of jelly craddled in a small mussel shell. 🐚

I've seen pleurobrachia pileus / sea gooseberries in books, aquariums, on the dirty waters of Belfast's port, but it's the first time I'm able to hold some, and to look at them as closely as I wished for many years.

If you look closely you can see their stomach in the middle, the red might be their tentacular roots. You can see a few sparkles, and *i was stunned* the silhouette of a little person with kinda winged arms on the 4th picture ! 👼🏻

They inspire me so much, and they changed my life, so they deserve a full dedicated post.

My loveee, my obsession, the little creature who changed my life. About time that the pleurobrachia has its own square. 5 years and it's still the best inspiration.
🦠I took the video in the Belfast marina, the water looked like a giant bubble tea, I was lying on my stomach so I could get as close as possible, making little groupie noises. Very satisfying memory. It was the first time I saw them in their natural habitat.
So if you go by the sea this summer, you have many chances to meet them ! Send me pictures of you do hehe 💙

5 years old Pleurobrachia Pileus facemask and I still think it might be my best one. The pleurobrachia or sea gooseberry looks like an alien from a far away world but it's actually a specie you can find on many marina's waters. They feed on plankton of course and they're quite ferocious predators.
Big thanks to @andeebasroe for the pictures at @aquariumdeparis_ (where you can see pleurobrachia irl hehe) it's a very good memory !

It was Gabrielle Chanel who said that every woman should own a pearl necklace, well, I made my own n0ghty version of it 😌

Thought I'd share bits & pieces of my fabrication process !
These pics were taken 2 years ago while I was working on the Black Trimaran neckpiece.
As you can see I only use brass and simple techniques such as soldering, sawing and wire sculpting.
On the last picture you can see the first "sketch" I drew directly on my neck, obviously I didn't follow this direction but I think it is important to keep notes of the process to inspire future ones !

I'll share more about my process & techniques the next few days, feel free to ask any question in the meantime ✌🏻🌸
