Noodle Topia in Madison Heights makes hand pulled noodles to order. The building is unassuming and easy to miss on John R Rd, but the interior is pretty nice and quite spacious. Their menu is decently priced, chili oil noodles for $11.99, spicy noodle soup for $12.99. The hot soy bean milk and youtiao (Chinese doughsticks) are not on their online menu, so you'll need to order it directly with them What's your favourite noodle spot? @qilindumplings has the best dumplings imo! They're handmade, juicy and so delicious! Plus they sell out fast at every pop up event so you know they're good It's not just dumplings, they have really good noodles dishes too. Try their cold noodles, it comes with a delicious sesame sauce or their beef noodle soup if you want something hot Their Lu Rou Fan (braised pork rice) is my favourite. It's a simple dish but the taste is so comforting! I could eat this everyday. First Moonlight Asia Festival in Madison Heights MI! This was so fun with over 20 Asian food vendors and lots of cultural performances! Despite the rainy weather the community showed up! We had good food, good vibes, beautiful cultural performances I can't ask for a more amazing event! @godaikoa2 does really good sushi, it's fresh and they give you two rolls instead of one! I really like their princess roll (lobster) and the dynamite crab rolls that have soft shell crabs in it The big portions here also apply to their other dishes like the sushi nachos and steak flying noodles. If you get their Superbowl Ramen it's a huge portion with 3 different types of meat! I found taiyaki soft serve! It's at Laguna Soft Serve and Taiyaki and they just opened in Canton Michigan! I've been searching for taiyaki soft serve and I'm so glad we finally have it in Michigan! Plus you get to choose a filling, and they offer free toppings! They also sell taiyaki on its own which I love! Red bean is a must imo but next time I'll go for either matcha custard or oero! I checked out Delish Asian Thai for some yummy Thai Cuisine! It was my first time trying pad woon sen and I love it! Anything with glass noodles is instantly my favourite. Their yellow curry with beef was very creamy and sweet and I thoroughly enjoyed their steamed tilapia fish with rice! For dessert, definitely get their mango sticky rice! Love how sweet the mango is and their golden crown dessert is great if you love tofu and want a dessert with less sugar! All their dishes here are halal and they also have vegetarian options! Last Asian Night Market in Detroit! It rained that morning but that did not stop me from going early to secure the goods!
