--- LIVE Saturday, 17.10. 10:30 PM The first warm days of the year – the air smells of summer rain and the melancholy of winter gives way to a bittersweet sense of life. With their song ‘Petrichor’ and their debut album of the same name, the four-piece post-punk/Britpop band Talkin’ Secret provide a guitar-driven soundtrack to precisely this feeling. An energetic atmosphere pervades the entire album; if you didn’t know any better, you’d think it came straight from Manchester. With their single “Stranger In Disguise”, the band urge listeners to stay true to themselves and believe in tomorrow. Since their formation, Talkin’ Secret have played at renowned Hamburg clubs such as the Molotow, the LOGO and the Indra. They have already completed three tours across the UK, Germany and Austria, released a documentary about one of their UK tours, and are already working on their second album. All in keeping with their motto: loud and straight forward. taken in Gängeviertel by @talkinsecret

London, last day of the tour. Lacking sleep and missed the London Eye but went straight over the Tower Bridge and got to play a well packed pub gig at @theolddispensary . On the way back to Germany we spent a lot of time in the car which gave us the chance to reflect and feel just how special that tour was and what lovely people and places we had met. No camcorder could rebuild this experience. We‘re taking that feeling with us. Every tour was a life-changing experience, thank you England. 📹: @tristan.dreht.frei ✂️: @_jannnole_ @linafeierabend taken in London, United Kingdom by @talkinsecret

You can still feel the music we love floating through the air and rain of Manchester. We felt that special energy at our gig @thecastlemanc with @thedirtylooksband and @calaverasmusic . We met so many authentic people and spent some great time with our dear friend @annitrippedagain. You know what we mean Oasis, Stone Roses, Smiths, Joy Division, Chameleons, Talkin' Secret. And many more. We’ll be back. 📽️@tristan.dreht.frei 🎬@_jannnole_ by @talkinsecret

From Brighton to Newcastle. After arriving in our 2-day-home and taking a walk through Newcastles beautiful hilly city we got to know the lovely @little.buildings . Adored playing in this little shelter with @idlehandsncl and @charliefloydhq . We have also further developed our artistic side, Lina slept 13 hours to fight her cold and Marti and Ole awakened their inner chef – Talkin’ Secret can do both, y‘all. 📹: @tristan.dreht.frei ✂️: @_jannnole_ taken in Newcastle upon Tyne by @talkinsecret

A bright day in Brighton. Our first day on tour felt like the last day of summer in the UK. The perfect setting to bring the storm. Cheers to Zoltar. It was nice chatting with you. 🎥: @tristan.dreht.frei ✂️: @_jannnole_ @linafeierabend by @talkinsecret

Never thought we'd be back to the UK this soon, playing a Tour. Its the Island where guitar music we love was born and raised. So this time felt a bit more like a homecoming. We are still buzzing. by @talkinsecret

London last night was fun. We left people smiling and so are we. It was the final of our Tour. We met the best people, had chats about the music we love and shared our music with people who love and enjoy it. We are going home to Hamburg now. We love the UK. Its about the people.
