Have you visited Croydon’s Secret Bakery yet?A few week’s ago our Raving Reporter Nathan (@talkwithflavour) headed over to Lloyd Park to learn more about @breaaadandbutter - a tiny but mighty micro bakery which is building a seriously devoted following. Founded in 2025 by professional chef Nia Payne-James, Bread & Butter specialises in artisan breads, naturally fermented sourdoughs and incredible hand-churned butters, all made in small batches using high-quality ingredients.Nia trained at @lecordonbleulondon and honed her skills at Michelin-starred restaurants including @piedaterrerestaurant and @corebyclaresmyth, before bringing that same level of care and technique to this charming Lloyd Park pop-up.There’s one catch though - it only opens for ONE HOUR (every Saturday from 9am-10am).So, you can either pre-order before midnight on Thursday to guarantee your goodies OR take your chances and join the queue on the day (tbf, there are far worse places to wait than beautiful Lloyd Park!)Have you been yet - what did you buy? 🍞 🥯 🥖 🧈 🍪 by @talkwithflavour
