They say life's about the adventure, and learning to dance in the rain. This weekend was a great testament to that. @bigc10guys and I had our first outing together and the excitement of the day had us less prepared than we usually are. Small teething issues, as usual with most new builds, left us using the best of our MacGyver skills. Unfortunately #projectcleansweep was down for the count, but not before laying down the fastest lap in the GTT class Sunday! This truck has been great to both of us for years and this new @fitech_efi power is delivering results. She will be back up and running, ready for @matslv . #C10 #Race #Family by @tallboyraceing

I can't believe it's been 10 years since we picked up this parking lot sweeper and turned it into a parking lot scraper. I love this truck and all the memories I've created in it. I built the motor with my grandpa, made 510hp to the crank thanks to @scatcrankshafts @afr_heads and @fitech_efi . The Dyno session even made it into a digital magazine article. The people I've met along the way have been awesome. I look forward to them almost as much as the racing itself. I love the car community and thank anyone and everyone who's helped with this build. I will continue giving back to the community and doing charity work with my friends @relentlessmuscle. #forevergreatful #teamtci @tci_engineering #c10 #AFR #FiTech #ScatEnterprises #EddieMotorsports

Well that’s a wrap on the Optima USCA Willows Springs event. It was very frustrating because the truck is not running well. We have some fuel/ignition gremlins we’re trying to find but they kept showing up all weekend. Even with that I was able to make some changes with how I drove the truck and stayed pretty competitive. Thankfully due to the efforts of Ed and Sal at TCI the truck handled really well!! my mission at the end of the weekend is to be able to drive the truck in the trailer which I did so the fun was a given at that point. I ended up on the podium in 3rd place for the second event in a row!! Bummed I was not able to get an invite to SEMA but we’ll give it another try at the Laguna Seca event.

It was a busy weekend with @vegas_callaway and @tallboyraceing out running the outside road course this weekend. The fun factor was upped a bit when @bigc10guys and @balistikdakota joined into the action! taken in Las Vegas Motor Speedway by @tallboyraceing

Today was a fun test, been fighting some wiring gremlins and I finally found the culprit. @klassautolights went above and beyond offering wires and whatever tools or help I needed. @slow3dr also jumped in the back of the truck and started working on pealing back electrical tape like a surgeon. Thanks to the help of my fellow C10 people, I Honda boyd this truck back running and made some more runs to end the day. Thanks to anyone and everyone who helped and offered a helping hand. #carcommunity #help #wiring #crispy #c10nationals taken in Las Vegas Motor Speedway by @tallboyraceing

Had a great time this weekend @matslv running autocross with @racingbyrds . This course was equally technical and flat out. I was loving the column into the late braking zone before the finish. The truck was hooked up Saturday. Can't wait for the next event #C10 #Truck #MuscleCar #moving #projectcleansweep taken in Las Vegas Motor Speedway by @tallboyraceing
