Wrote “10Gs” almost 20 years ago. Brought my 5-year-old self back to sing it. Keeping every promise I made to that kid.

How old were you when you fell in love with music?

NEW YORK - Some pairings just work, and Aida and Tall Genius are one of them. When the two first linked up years ago, the result was more than a song. It sparked a community of listeners who have been asking for a full collaboration album ever since. With “BrainLess,” now out,the wait finally pays off.

“BrainLess” is a song that hands you a decision. When self-preservation is the question on the table, do you protect yourself, or do you follow the pull anyway? Aida doesn’t answer it for you. She lays out the stakes and lets you sit in them.

Behind her, Tall Genius delivers the kind of production that separates a producer from a craftsman. With two decades of experience behind the boards, he builds a sonic world with real depth, texture, and restraint, and he leaves room for the story to breathe. The production never crowds the lyric. It frames it, heightens it, and gives it weight.

Together, they sound like artists who understand each other. Each lets the other shine, and the song is stronger for it.

“BrainLess” by Aida & Tall Genius is available now on all streaming platforms. Stream it, share it, and tell us what you’d choose.
