If You’re Reading This, Small Tees is tonight! ——— We all remember the mixtape that would go on to stand the test of time and still be regarded as one of Drake’s most impactful and popular projects, “If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late”. Originally released as digital download on February 13th 2015, the project would go on to be streamed over 17 million times across the first few days. With Drake and production credits including WondaGurl, in house producer, 40, Boi-1da, PartyNextDoor and Travis Scoot to name a handful, it makes perfect sense. It’s damn near impossible to avoid gettin’ excited when “10 Bands”, “Energy” or even “Know Yourlself come on to this day. (I-WAS-RUNNIN-THRU-THE-6-WIT-MY…) Which jam was your jam from the album? The DJs are watchin’ 👀 ——— Tonight 10/11 @spiritpgh we’re excited to bring back Small Tees: 2010s Hip-Hop and R&B Party for our 3rd annual edition with @djnatedabarber & @manibahia_. 🎟️ at makesureyouhavefun.com Those who were able to snag an RSVP, be sure to arrive before 10PM for free admission. “Waves at the Prom” LIVE (8-26-10) - @itspacdiv 🎥: @josephg.psd by @talltees2000s
To kick off the decade, in 2010, Pac Div dropped their mixtape “Don’t Mention It”, a West Coast hip-hop gem. IYKYK🔥. The Palmdale natives tapped producers THC, King Blue, and Oh No for the project with standout records such as “Rollin (feat. Ty Dolla $ign)”, “It’s On”, “Birds (feat. Pill) and trunk-shaker, “Waves at the Prom”. This mixtape is another brick adding to Pac Div’s permanent place in the West Coast’s underground hip-hop scene. ——— This Saturday @spiritpgh we’re excited to bring back Small Tees: 2010s Hip-Hop and R&B Party for our 3rd annual edition with @djnatedabarber & @manibahia_.
